This is partly so we don't clog up the other threads. There is a lot of synergy in the CiD releases with Farrow casters. Some of the obvious ones are the Soul Slave, Bone Shrine and Cauldron with Midas, Kwaak and Gub with Carver and Arkadius and the newly improved Thrullgs with Helga.
Ramble!

The fact that WWFF allows all of the above certainly make them key pieces to consider with Farrow Warlocks. The Spirit Cauldron is the model I keep coming back to. The synergy with the Soul Slave, Kwaak and Gub, and Bone Shrines are obvious. They're all strong considerations with all of our Warlocks. But the Spirit Cauldron... 6 points for a boostable Gallows in literally any list? The only mitigating factor is that it doesn't get up the table too quickly, and depending on how WWFF pans out it may be left behind even further, but a 15" threat on a boosted Magic Ability 7 Gallows is tempting with anyone. Particularly Midas, since this even helps him with his threat range problem, but I'd almost be tempted to run it with Arkadius and he needs it less than anyone

Why thrullgs with Helga in particular? She likes the upkeep stripping same as any caster, I'm just not seeing the unique synergy there.
Soul slaves, cauldrons, shrines, and husks all look quite neat for her though

Oh, I quite like AD fighting solos with her. It works well with her first turn dash. They can also strip upkeeps and trigger gang fighter in the same move. It isn't amazing synergy but I like it. They're competent fighters in their own right. I think I'll roll with 1-2 Thrullgs and the Totem Hunter as her free solos. Not that any build for her would be that competitive anyway

Gang fighter should help those thrullgs with actually hitting to strip the upkeep too.

Gang Fighter is on the Warbeasts, not on the Thrullgs. They just trigger it.

Haha we wouldn't have a low opinion of Helga is gang fighter affected her warriors!

I got a game in spamming solos with Helga. It felt WAY better than running any units with her. 3 Croak Hunters, 2 Thrullgs, 2 attached Bokurs, Soul Slave, Lanyssa, Totem Hunter, Kwaak and Gub, Gudrun, Maxiumus. Hooooly moly was it entertaining. This is always the way I felt she wanted to run. I'm hoping the Croaks get a little more love and obviously Gudrun is garbage but it really made for an interesting game with options coming out of your ears. If Thornfall get an effective budget beatstick, Helga might actually be on her way...

I know they're among the least functional models in Circle, but pigs can tune their output *way* up... Gnarlhorn: Earth's Blessing! Helga wants steady more than anything. Counterslam is fun; Grand slam+followup gets you deep into enemy lines. Multiple followups per turn from Helga feat for janky featslam angles with extra distance. Primal+gang brings it to ps 19/18/18 initials Shadowhorn: Jumping before helga feat makes it quite easy to set up slams into large bases/obstructions. If you can get that extra damage die, 3x ps 18 and 2x ps17 really hurts (Khador heavies take 40 avg vs 23 without). Puissance works on other beasts for more Featjank. Chain attack is gravy. Set defense means it takes defenders' ward quite well, becoming def17/arm19 on the charge.

Not controversial at all. I've had that exact conversation with local Circle players. I'd love for pigs to get a solid discount heavy in the Archidon/Neraph/Satyr price range, and the Satyrs would all be phenomenal in pigs.

I hope for our next releases that gets looked at instead of a gargantuan or ranged heavy or whatever. Currently our option for bringing down anything from a colossal to a light warjack is the 15 point war hog. A primalled light doesn't even take out a deathripper on average! For a brief, glorious period we had the MK2 battle boar but that was not to last.

Hey Road Hogs do work and are 16 points!!!
But yes, I have offered to take Satyrs off of peoples hands.

I'm really happy that all the tech pigs are most interested in (Bone Shrines, Spirit Cauldrons, and Soul Slaves) seem to be getting better

Well, the soul slave got more expensive. I'd really like it to switch mental force out for blood rituals and cmd 2-3 so it can be cheaper. It's just gonna be a free upkeep a lot of the time. Spirit cauldrons are a little hard to justify without Midas I think, unfortunately they have nothing to hand bones to and can't score scenario. You'd have to be desperate for puppet strings and then it uses its nuke at other times. I may have to give it a run with someone else, unfortunately there is only so much time to test and you can't cram everything being tested into one list! Satyrs would be amazing. I've looked at that same thing too Man, maths is depressing! Odds of: Battle boar killing a shredder: 42.156% Battle boar killing a deathripper: 0.889% Battle boar with primal killing a deathripper: 57.355% (approx, the maths gets complicated with lots of attacks and I'm no mathemagician). Why is it called a battle boar?

Buy or Boost puts the odds of a Battle Boar without Primal of killing a Deathripper at 2.7%. That's, like, three times as good! With Primal it only ups the odds to 39.3% though...
That said, I don't think there are any lights in the game equipped to kill other lights without serious buff support. An Enraged Savage only kills a Battle Boar something like 10% of the time.
I don't mind the Soul Slave being more expensive when literally every Warlock is in WWFF right now (excepting Midas, who I'm more keen to run without any theme at all, but there it going up in process was balanced nicely by the Cauldrons dropping in price). As for the Cauldrons, at 5 points for Puppet Master and boosted Gallows I'm honestly pretty tempted to see them with Helga and Sturm and Drang.
