On a more serious note, dd-mm-yyyy makes my eyes bleed. Using this format makes you a worse person.
In the after life: "Well, everything seems in order. You're free to head on in. Wait a second..., it looks like there's a note here. Apperently you used to format stuff using ddmmyyyy. That's going to be a problem. Please take a seat, this might take a while"

EDIT: This was a knee-jerk reaction post and wasn't productive. I'm sorry about that.

Recommended reading: linkNot to detail from your good point but can we stop having these long philosophical posts on twitter. To me is arguably more annoying than a long string of uncapitalized unpunctuated text. Like if you have a point to make that requires you to keep the the attention span of your listener for a while what makes you think twitter is the best platform for that. You know twitter where it was made for the purpose of short burst of socisl media with very little memory or retention.

Twitter and other social media is the cancer that infects our society on every level. Where we used to have in depth articles by experts with well researched positions where we now have the twitterverse yelling into the void about everything from what the Kardashians wore today to in depth political rants. All from dubious sources. It has sapped the attention, and with it revenue, that more legitimate news sources used to have and that's killing our societal IQ. News sources have responded by super accelerating their production cycles resulting in cutting away time they previously used for fact checking and editing resulting in poor article quality thus eroding the public's confidence in them.
Overall we are less informed, severely mis-informed but more entertained by Kanye's antics.
I weep for the future.

So it seems like this topic has swerved pretty far off topic.

I thought the internet was for porn.... Is VR for porn as well?
Forgot to add VR seems to be about focussing on one thing... which is not the way we are behaving ATM. As is, I have no faith in VR.
