Play secret masters or wild hunt then. Or Cygnar Both your suggestions are not BG themes... I do have Cygnar... And will probably play it. If nothing else just because you're not hitting fluff based walls... Especially fluff that makes no sense to me.

Brenos is a solid heavy. He hits pretty darn hard with Primal and has a good gun... POW 18 with primal isn't darn hard...

What I love is the difference between Talion charter and Slaughter Fleet
Solos get Dodge...
Warjacks get Gangfighter...

I was messing around with a Wurmwood-Brennos combo for ravaging winds and stranglehold to truly cripple an enemy, but I never got much use out of it on the table.
Looked amazing on paper, but usually I needed the melee hitting power so the incapacitating combo was wasted.

Primal is a trap, especially on a utility heavy like brenos.

POW 20 wih 1 initial and 18 with the second with 2 buffs is not impressive for a heavy warbeast...

Mac and sidro have it right.
If you're going to primal an expensive heavy, it needs to be better than just "OK". All of my game with Brennos and Wurmy I've wished he was a stalker instead.

Too much of a loss to remove one and almost half of another khador jack on a typical Kaya 3 turn. I almost always regret primaling an warpwolf afterwards. Its a good animus in the wrong faction.

You can get War hogs up to disgusting levels and they are only 15 points. I am more ok with losing a heavy for a turn if that heavy can remove 2 heavies when I primal him.
