Hey there, fellow hobbyists. As i'm new around here i thought it might be a good idea to show my humble re-beggining of warmachine collection. Owned and played mercs for most od mkii, kinda backed off a bit, and now coming back with cygnar ( re buying mercs seems a bit pricey, but i promise myself to do this) First mini, a starter box ironclad. Sorry for posting a link, just posting from mobile.. ill try to fix it Tomorrowland Please, c&c is much appreciated, i might post some of my older works here, maybe edit: Fixed photo

Very nice! The metals are fantastic. They have an old, decently maintained feel that is really well done. The blue is well done but doesn't seem to have the same depth as the metals. Overall the colors work very well together and the base is very professional looking.

Thanks for commenting Base was made with gravediggers in mind, I'll also add razorwire and focus more on mud and snow rather than rocks ( especially on infantry)

He looks great! I love the subtle weathering and shading.
I do have a couple of minor suggestions. First, the screw heads on the shoulders would probably look better higglighted the same as the surrounding bolts.
Second, I personally don't like leaving bolts in the same colour as the underlying armour. It doesn't take too long to paint them in a different colour, and I think it adds a lot to a model (well, except in rare cases when the sculpt is too busy I suppose). My personal preference is to paint them all brass.

TBH i dont really like painted rivets -> metallic paint stands out from rest of the armor plate in fashion that not really suits me much, even when washed properly :/
Besides, im a commisioner painter, so I tend to cut my painting time when doing my own hobbywork ( not sure if thats good, really) Ironclad was painted in 4 hours total, maybe.
Thanks for commenting :V

Fair enough. The fact that you can get such great results in such a short time is especially impressive.

Looks good. I would recommend painting the handles (and possibly the hinges) on the boiler a different color. You can make an argument that the rivets would logically be painted if the 'jack was assembled before painting (which is most likely), but the blue handles just look wrong to me...
