...Got a buy one get one free, somehow. I wanted to build a plastic Seether, since I have one old metal one, so that's happening. But I'm not sure what to do with the second kit! Right now I've got one Inflictor as well so....what do you think Cryx forum, is a second Inflictor worth it, or should I double down on the excellent Seether resculpt?!

2 and 2 is probably best. Infernal Machine kicked both these jacks into gear, so you may want some options.

Magnets. The answer is magnets.

Magnets. The answer is magnets. Always magnetise, always! It's super easy on Cryx jacks.

Definitely magnets on that kit

Another vote for magnetization. One major benefit of the new plastic warjack kits is that the arms are a LOT lighter, so the magnets stick better. I bought up a few Khador heavy kits and I have been doing the magnetization thing whenever possible.

Eh, to be honest I don't like magnetizing too much, it makes the models kind of annoying to handle or paint for me, and I enjoy that hobby aspect a lot (Cryx blues redux coming to painting forum soon!).
The question is more like, what's the liklihood I'm going to run a pair of Inflictors or a pair of Seethers? What kind of builds are you guys looking at like this right now? Where is each helljack strong?

Seether is very damage dealing. He has 2xPOW 17 and a free charge. 12'' threat on aiakos1. Inflictor seems nice for some specific lists, bun str 16 kinda weak

Inflictors are amusing with Venethrax under Infernal Machine - because ARM19, Shieldguarding, Hyperaggressive, countercharging jacks with boosted attach rolls and crit poison do tend to hurt warbeasts some....

These are two jacks that are both very useful and often run as multiples. If you are going to magnetise anything this kit would be it.

Magnetizing is the only viable answer when it comes to this kit. It is criminal to not do it!

Both have uses in many lists and fill different roles. The Seether is a damage monster, especially under an ILO, fuelled by some Sirens, while the Inflictor is a decent tank for Cryx and Shield Guard can be very useful.
As others have said, there is no real right answer, so, since you already have one of each and are making a second Seether, I think you might as well make a second Inflictor if you don't want to magnetise, then you have 2 of each.

I usually use 2 mm magnets, which are mostly fine, but for the heavier arms, like the Reaper Helldriver (the melee weapon), the crab jack weapons or the Inflictor's stinger, they are not enough. They work, but the weapon goes all over the place. Perhaps 3 mm magnets would work, but I fear that anything bigger wouldn't fit inside the upper arms of the bipedal chassis.

I use 2mm by 1.5mm discs. Easy to drill out holes with a dremel ball Ive magnetised all of the plastic jack kits using these Note that in this case it will make the plastic inflictor spike a little weak.
