Well according to the video, the next Cryx Theme is going to be based around pirates from the Sharde Isles and include a lot of living models. I expect to see Black Ogrun and Satyxis in there for sure.
Any hopes or expectations even though it isn't a bane theme?

shick insider confirms that the next theme is actually a Bane theme; I think the Sharde Isles theme is the theme book based on what I heard

Still not clear what is going to be in the book. Didn't he say only one theme force in the upcoming book, but not to worry because we'd get a bane theme later. So, what will the one in the book be? I saw it's confirmed that it is not Ghost Fleet. Maybe that will be our "all the jacks" theme? Something to go really well with Mortenabra2, who is released in our Command Book?

Im going to laugh is they give Raiders AD as theme bonus. As far as ogrun im not even sure what they would need to be good.

If Ogrun could drag large bases via a CMA I'd take them all the time for threat extension. Also if the necrosurgeon could turn them into brute thralls (hint hint) they'd be even more awesome.

That would be cool. Ive always thought the ability to CRA drag large bases would be really cool for the Skorne Cataphract Arcuarii and thenatic of them trapping large beasts. Would be cool for something similar for the orgun to show how they board decks.

Of note, Scharde pirates != satyxis, according to Pagani

Sorry, but that's never going to happen, because you would have to track small, medium and large Corpse Tokens, which would be a nightmare. On topic: new theme is here: battlecollege.org/index.php/Theme_-_Infernal_Machines

Then you pay for recursion like a sepulcher.

Would be doable, but then you would hit the cap of 5 rather quickly in some instances. Though maybe that's not so bad, since you can only spend 3 anyway.

So, if not Satyxis, then what? Black Ogrun and mercs?

So, if not Satyxis, then what? Black Ogrun and mercs? According to the video they're releasing new living pirate models. It sounded like they'd be similar to sea dogs.
