I'll do my best not to be negative. But I'm really falling deep into this theorycrafting pit...
How do you deal with high Armor multi-jack lists? How many things to do you have to commit? What resources do you have to spend? What same old staple models do you have to use, again and again?
<rant>
I'm trying my best to make a beast heavy list that can deal with jack heavy lists. But as everyone here knows our beasts are just too expensive to get remotely close to a 1-1 ratio and have them trade equally. Looking at the black&white of it we don't even have the same hitting power as Circle. Skorne has us rivaled or beat in damage and they are supposed to be a "tanky" counter punch style faction. I truthfully don't know enough to comment on trolls but they have rage. Minions even have us beat.
Best case scenarios:
Legion - Carnivean Ps18 + Kiss from BFS + Fury = Effective Pow 23
Circle - Ghetorix Ps17 + warp STR + Primal + Synergy = Effective Pow 24
Minions - Snapjaw Ps18 + Rage + Fury = Effective Pow 24
Trolls - Mulg + Rage + i don't know enough = Effective Pow 21
Skorne - Tiberon Ps18 + enrage + Ignite + 1d6 = Effective Pow 23-28
Again they are just basic numbers, I know. But to add to the issue is all those numbers go up by another 2 against the thing I'm having the most trouble with - Warjacks. Hutchuk is a reasonable solo that works for everyone but Legion. So that's even more help towards dropping stormwalls and behemoths and mess like that. I would buy and run Hutchuk if I could. Strictly for the fact that Warjacks ruin my day so often.
I know, that's yet another resource and points spent. But that's the case for everyone - Blackfrost shard, beast handlers, Gorax, Wrastler, Mauler, etc...
So how do we put enough damage on the field to warrant the title of "glass Cannon"
