So...ignoring Galvanizer spam for a moment, can you build a competitive 75pt list that doesn't use the Axiom or TEP?
The Axiom and TEP seem like a given unit to include I would like to try something else. I am already planning/building Axis and Galvanizers and would like something to pair it with.

Here is a Mother list I have been playing:
Mother -Asiim -Assim -Assim -Monitor -Monitor -Monitor -Corollary
Elim Servitor Elim Servitor Elim Servitor Attune Servitor Attune Servitor
It brings a serious hail of fire to heavies and infantry, snipes out stones, and brings tremendous assassination pressure. Worse case you still have 6 heavies that share focus, and Imperil. Not going to be great into scenario obv.

I'd suggest a couple ciphers instead of all 3 monitors. Ciphers can hit pretty hard and give good utility shooting against the right troops and sometimes rough terrain can swing a matchup too. They can also induct all 3 focus in a firing line whereas a monitor can only induct 2 to pass along.

Or swap the Monitors for a Prime Axiom

Well, the challenge was to not use an Axiom or TEP ...
as for the Ciphers, I do think they are good, but totally changes the tenor of the list. They are much punchier for sure, but their guns are completely outclassed by the Assimilator. If you want to induct 3 focus, just start with your Assimilators and work your way to the Monitors, and then inducting only two each of them is fine.
If I were to make a more "balanced" version of the list I might have
Mother -Inverter -Cipher -Assimilator -Assimilator -Assimilator -Diffuser -Diffuser -Corollary
Elimination Elimination Eilmination Reflex Reflex
Optifex Directive

Axis -Corollary -Conservator -Conservator -Conservator -Inverter -Inverter -Inverter -Inverter Elimination Servitors Reflex Servitors - Free Reflex Servitors - Free Elimination Servitors - Free Elimination Servitors - Free Attunement Servitors - Free
I took it to a 32 man tournament along with an Iron Mom list. I played it twice, both times into Amon with lots of jacks and I won the first game on scenario and the second game due to assassination.

Similar to the Axis spam list but with Syntherion. The galvanizers don't have guns but still benefit with free charges from his feat. Additionally the numbers work well with his field marshal and lots of numbers to benefit from Synergy. Only thing I am not sure on is the Assimilators versus Ciphers. Assimilators at P+S 17 and weapon master sound awesome but Ciphers jump to P+S 21 and have two initial attacks... conflictchamber.com/#bc1b_-0id3dBd7d7d4d5d5d5d5d5d5d5d5d5d5dzdCdCdedgdgdgConvergence Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Destruction Initiative (Syntherion 1) Forge Master Syntherion [+27] - Corollary [6] - Assimilator [16] - Assimilator [16] - Diffuser [6] - Galvanizer [5] - Galvanizer [5] - Galvanizer [5] - Galvanizer [5] - Galvanizer [5] - Galvanizer [5] - Galvanizer [5] - Galvanizer [5] - Galvanizer [5] - Galvanizer [5] Optifex Directive [4] Algorithmic Dispersion Optifex [2] Algorithmic Dispersion Optifex [2] Attunement Servitors [0] Reflex Servitors [0] Reflex Servitors [0] Reflex Servitors [0]

Another thought out of theme with Mother... Reduces the effectiveness of the feat turn with fewer jacks, maybe Ciphers instead to benefit from the MAT with additional initial melee attacks? Plus if we get a second theme for infantry later this is ready to go! conflictchamber.com/#bc1bdkdBdmdmdududcdcdcdzdfdfdfConvergence Army - 75 / 75 points (Directrix 1) Iron Mother Directrix [+27] - Exponent Servitors - Corollary [6] - Assimilator [16] - Assimilator [16] Reciprocators (max) [18] Reciprocators (max) [18] Clockwork Angels [5] Clockwork Angels [5] Clockwork Angels [5] Optifex Directive [4] Elimination Servitors [3] Elimination Servitors [3] Elimination Servitors [3]

Well, the challenge was to not use an Axiom or TEP ... Doh! You're absolutely right. I saw Axiom, but in my head, I read "Axis". Mea culpa!

if we get a second theme for infantry later this is ready to go! That list seems pretty neat, but if you're trying to run infantry why not run Lucant? He does it better, since his feat affects them while Iron Mom's doesn't. Aside from that, though, it does seem like a pretty neat list.

Currently I'm running this list and have been having decent success with.
Aurora Numen of Aerogenesis [+29] -Corollary [6] -Cipher [16] -Inverter [15] -Diffuser [6] Elimination Servitors [3] Steelsoul Protector [4] Steelsoul Protector [4] Algorithmic Dispersion Optifex [2] Max Reciprocators [18] Clockwork Angels [5] Clockwork Angels [5] Optifex Directive [4] Max Perforators [16]
Provided one chooses the perforator target well and threaten the assassination via dropping an army down the enemy caster's face it works.

I did consider Lucant, but my initial thought was running Mom for the Assimilators. Help clear out any enemy infantry to allow the Reciprocators less jamming on the way in. I could just as easily drop Mom for Lucant and replace the Assimilators with a pair of Ciphers so they can fire out over the infantry...

I've actually had fun running Aurora with double reciprocators. The feat unjams them easily. They have a 7 inch walk with shield wall and can reform 5 more on feat turn. They also have a 12 inch charge threat which with pow 14 can do some damage. I've used arcane might to get boosted damage rolls when they shield wall, but it doesn't happen that often.

How well do you think this would run if you swapped out a Steelsoul for a Foundry?

Convergence Army - 75 / 75 points
(Directrix 1) Iron Mother Directrix [+27] - Exponent Servitors - Assimilator [16] - Conservator [12] - Corollary [6] - Diffuser [6] - Monitor [16] Attunement Servitors [4] Clockwork Angels [5] Eradicators (max) [15] Optifex Directive [4] Reciprocators (max) [18]
My mother list of choice, nice and balanced overall. Three heavies, decent scenario with angels and lots of medium based infantry to flank if needed. Swapping the monitor out for the second asym would be smart, but I only have 2 floaters and I really just love the poor monitor.
