I've been tinkering with this list for a while and wanted to share it here.
Rhyas, Sigil of Everblight - WB: +30
- Blightbringer: 38
- Naga Nightlurker: 8
Blackfrost Shard: 9
Blighted Ogrun Warspears (full): 15
- Warspear Chieftain: 5
Strider Scouts: 9
Blighted Ogrun Warmongers: 15
Warmonger War Chief: 6
So, how does this work? Pretty well. Obviously, the list has strong hitting power. Warspears and Warmongers both have nice built-in MAT fixers, and the Blightbringer drops templates of -2 DEF basically wherever you want them, or damage buffs when you need it. The War Chief is putting out that passive +1 to attack rolls. The scouts were put in the army for harassment, but have thus far only worked as a tarpit. The Shard is there for when you need some attack or damage fixing. The Naga gets you around a bunch of problematic spells. All the while, there's the constant pressure of Rhyas, who can erase most things from the table without a problem. Critical Decapitation is amazing when it happens, but I say to ignore it. Drop the Blightbringer template or Kiss of Lyliss on a target and Rhyas hits as hard as the Butcher, but with Sprint. Also, as your army attritions down, the Blightbringer kicks a lot of ass in melee.
Downsides: It's tempting to make Rhyas do everything. She can't. A succubus lets you do more (and I really tried hard to fit one in this list), but Rhyas can't do everything. You have to make the call for when you're going to use Rapport, Occultation, Dash, or murder. Also, low model count.
Awesome: In one turn, I had the Blightbringer eat Beast-09 while Rhyas killed the Behemoth. A friend of mine was horrified that two Warmongers took out his entire Ironfang Pikemen, because feat lets you teleport and get the backstrike bonus, along with ignoring shieldwall.
Any improvements or recommendations?
