Oh yes. This episode was full of herp-derpiness. Full on, unfiltered, pure, straight from the source.
The next time I played Harby (today) I remembered the mini-Feats, but forgot "Doors of Judgement" again... once. Could've been very, very significant.
While Harby was *mostly* safe, Todd did still have a few guns (including one big'un on the Wrath), and so there was always at least a bit of risk to Harby herself. But yes, I should've spent more of her Focus healing herself, I think.
It's going to take awhile to get used to that balance!

If the woldwrath is shooting Harby (which you can shield guard, since she's immune to blast damage with the vigilant,) it's not trampling exemplars or slamming redeemers ComboSmiteNick, you might like the kryssa list competitively more if you stop dropping it into it's worst match-ups

That's crazy-talk, Swampmist. And Nick will hear none of it. Nothing but the worst matchups for Kryssa!

No battle report this week, but Darrell, Nick, and I did manage to sit down for a bit over an hour and discuss list building in Menoth. Specifically, Darrell talked about a pair he's very excited about (Thyra - Reznik1), and I talked about a pair I'm very excited about (Harbinger - Feora3), and then we critiqued and advised each other on how to make those lists better, or even just alternative ways to build them. I got a tonne of useful advice out of it for my lists, and hopefully you guys will too! Give it a listen, let us know what ya think!

On Darrel's lists: I generally don't like playing Tristan2 as a gunline caster. I feel he would do just as well, if not better, with either maximising the amount of arm21 he brings, or a mix of shooting and armor. Two templars with him are extremely survivable and do a ton in melee, plus bringing scenario presence with beat back. I also think tristan is the one place where Vanquishers are actually kinda good, especially with the rise of Iron Fang Pikemen and Piggeybacks, because manifest destiny with 2" thresher and chain weapon is just gravy into those tanky infantry lists, and not half bad against def-skew jammers like Fyanna2 Ravens. On Marx lists: So, I know that the guys suggested max idrians for your list, but I actually think you should consider dropping tristan+redeemer for min cleansers+UA and another wrack or vassal. As you guys said they have a super long threat, which is even more ridiculous when stacked with HoJ and Incite. Plus, it leaves you with nicea for cleaning up things like arcanists and vassals, high-priority UAs, and even a wounded jack or 2.

Oooh... that's an interesting suggestion. Would give Feora some more infantry clearing with the ability to do a bit more damage on a heavy in a pinch... that's not bad at all... and with HoJ and Incite (if needed)...
Yeah, I can get behind that.
Bonus: I don't own Idrians, but I DO own Cleansers!
I like this idea. Thank you!

Played her for a solid month a bit ago; loved them under her. I played a max unit paired with idrians, but I like your list as well! Heck, honestly, I'm half tempted to try out double KE+Max Cleansers n=with her now as well...

She's really, really good.
So good that I think I have to paint her. And that decision pains me, since it takes me FOREVER to paint Menoth models... I was hoping to pick up an airbrush "soon", but after looking at the costs involved it's definitely not going to be "soon".

No pretty pictures this week, but a solid discussion about the new Steamroller CID.
And Nick, Todd, and I manage to NOT scream at each other over Proxygate!... mostly. ^_^
Give it a listen, let us know what you think!

This week, Darrell, Nick, and I discuss Battle Engines, Banes, and Retribution!
Some great talks, I suspect. Listen to it, let us know what you think!

Howdy folks! Something a bit special for you this week. A couple fellow podcasters decided it would be a good idea to get a mess of us together and talk about the state of WarMachine and Hordes. I think "mess" is the right word for a group of podcasters... seems appropriate, at the very least. Anyway! Give it a listen, let us know what you think!

Hey folks! We managed to rope Tim "The Enchanter" Banky onto the podcast to discuss his incredible Master's run at the Southern Ontario Open, and to talk about the convention overall.
It's a good episode (although I have to apologize for a few weird "clicking" moments that happen for some unknown reason... I blame the Skype recorder that we used), so give it a listen and let us know what ya think!
Thanks!

I for one am extremely relieved to find out that the clicking was an audio mistake and not something breaking within my car.
I definitely agree with most of Tim's views on Ghost Fleet. A lot of people overemphasis the Incorporeal aspect of the list when in reality it's the Zombie Pirates that do most of the work, not the Ghost Pirates.
