Hey all,
Looking at running Makeda2 with double ferox. Just wondering what people are usually taking to fill out the rest of the points, and if you have any advice on playing the list.

Things i often found in internet Mak2 lists:
Units/solos: Legends of Haalak Rhadheim Tyrant commander Swamp gobbers Swamp gobber chef (needed if opponent refuses to kill kitties)
Beasts: Basilisk Krea, Titan gladiator, Titan Sentry - usual stuff consider taking Molik Karn (long assasination), Despoiler (free storm rager), Wrong eye (good 2nd - 3rd heavy cause no fury pressure on caster and starcrossed + dodge combo) I also saw list with only Tiberion and krea as a beasts, without beasthandlers.
Hope that helps

That does help, so looking at something kind of like this for a pretty standard list? conflictchamber.com/#b91b44cQ5Gfs67675U6yfFSkorne Army - 70 / 75 points (Makeda 2) Supreme Archdomina Makeda [+27] - Despoiler [19] - Titan Gladiator [15] Legends of Halaak [8] Praetorian Ferox (max) [20] Praetorian Ferox (max) [20] Paingiver Beast Handlers (min) [5] Tyrant Rhadeim [9] Swamp Gobber Chef [1] That leaves 5 points left over. Can drop the chef and put in a Tycomm stanbear, change the beast package up a little bit or try to fill 5 points, although that's kind of a weird spot. Could do a willbreaker or something else. Thoughts?

I personally prefer to get double Willbreaker in there as opposed to the min Beast Handlers, as it makes the Kitties even MORE of a nightmare to deal with. I question the Gladiator a little bit, as he would only be there to Rush himself or Despoiler, but I suppose a late game heavy could be pretty compelling.

Yeah, the thought behind the Gladiator was to rush the Despoiler on the way up, and just be a solid heavy to be around as the armies are winding down. Definitely not a set in stone option though, still trying to figure out what the best beast package is.

While the Krea is situational in my experience against lists with guns it's pretty vital to helping keep the Ferox alive, because while you have Deflection casting it is often a trap as 3 Stay Deaths will most likely be more useful to you. An Agonizer is basically always useful to fill out the rest of your WB points, but as always, it depends on your meta and playing games is the best way to find out what works best for you!

I'd love to get some Ferox for my army, but I just can't bear their design. I'll get the Hydra instead and hope the Ferox get a nice redesign, though I'm guessing the chance of that happening is pretty slim.

I have my Ferox riders sitting on Cold ones from dark elves FB. My local TO says its OK cause he understands original models are crap.

That's actually a cool idea, but I'm not sure the cold ones would fit into the Skorne design. I'll just wait for an update. Anyone know of a more cat-like beast that we could put our Ferox riders upon?
