That seems really cool with rask. Laughing at assasinations while also blocking landing zones for them will really frustrate ppl.
For circle, I'm including them in an antigunline list that has 40/50 fastish infantry. One of the units has regrowth on it, which means I spend fury during the control phase to bring back one per fury.
Anyway, the slower shamblers can either screen or the bokor can soak up the corpses from the more expensive infantry getting shot down on the approach. Assuming I can protect the bokor ( big assumption), could be a nasty anchor.
Do ppl have luck actually shrugging off shots by having shamblers rat damage for bokor? At arm 16 it seems like any boosted shot will quickly chew through your unit.

You can zombify them so each individual gets a damage roll, helps them soak shots a little bit longer.

In my current Rask theme I am running 2 units of them. I know gasp! That could be a unit of posse but hear me out. One thing I think is over looked on the shamblers card is that stationary spell. Its a stationary spell that is not tied to an element. Also you can sac a shambler to boost it. So I have one unit boost the spell fury the other unit and let it go nuts on a heavy.
Sad times about the bokur though. They ruled the mist speaker no longer grants him the plus to hit only the actual shamblers.

Ok, so thinking on shamblers.
With the theme, I feel that a very efficient way to get the most out of the theme and the shamblers is a list that looks like the following;
War Room Army
Minions - Black Tide - Theme
Theme: The Blindwater Congregation 3 / 3 Free Cards 75 / 75 Army
Bunker - Steamroller Objective
Bloody Barnabas - WB: +28 - Blackhide Wrastler - PC: 16 (Battlegroup Points Used: 16) - Ironback Spitter - PC: 15 (Battlegroup Points Used: 12) - Bull Snapper - PC: 0 - Bull Snapper - PC: 0
Bog Trog Mist Speaker - PC: 4 Totem Hunter - PC: 0 Gatorman Witch Doctor - PC: 4
Croak Raiders - Leader & 9 Grunts: 17 Gatorman Posse (Blindwater) - Leader & 4 Grunts: 17 Gatorman Posse (Blindwater) - Leader & 4 Grunts: 17 Gatorman Bokor & Bog Trog Swamp Shamblers - Bokor & 9 Grunts: 11 Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew - Leader & 1 Grunt: 2
THEME: The Blindwater Congregation ---
GENERATED : 04/14/2017 19:41:51 BUILD ID : 2039.17-03-16
Points of note:
16 free points
Croaks can be protected through the swamp pit and tough from the witch doctor.
Meanwhile the posse get up front, get in the scrum with death march up to ensure they're hitting to kill.
Shamblers with their bokur are mingling in amidst the troops, collecting corpses from the advanced deployed croaks who fail tough, and generating waves of rotting shamblers.
Knock everything down with Barnabas's feat, and leave to soak.

Been having some fun w the shamblers in circle. Just sharing my experience and seeing if y'all use them similarly.
They are slower than my other stuff so I have them follow up behind a regrowth (prime morvahna) unit of bloodtrackers (advance deploy, spd 7, def 14, stealth). Those 2 units deploy directly across from a flag/zone I think I can take. The bloodtrackers jam way deep and are brought back every control phase by morvahna. By turn 2 or 3 the now 15 or so shamblers have caught up and provide a great jam.
Any heavy that wants to contest that flag usually has to trample through the muck and so I follow up by threatening with other pieces that are waiting.
Been a ton of fun jamming opponents so far up field. Keeping the bokor alive is tough though. That thing is made from paper.
