Hi, do you know when zealots CID will end? The zealots went through cid last month alongside the Christmas cid, effectively them and the deliverers will be new models when they are released in November I think. New rules and new points values 👍 On last checking, I think the zealots went down in points and gained a point of RAT, deliverers gained a pow on their rockets and rocket volley (increased aoe size depending on the number of models combined shooting).

When those rules officially drop I will officially begin operation: Make testamemt Great again. This time with my Faithful Masses Version of ghost fleet...recursion Zealots backed by volleys of rockets and Idrians...Let it rain boys.

FM is more thematic for him anyways.

FM is more thematic for him anyways. He has a lot of meta counters with all the melee rfp and soul denial floating around. I ma not saying he is bad, but he get gear checked pretty hard. FM not only gives him a cool wall to chill behind, It also lets him play a gunline, meaning his army can get work done and stay away from the melee rfp that seems to be floating around. Ranged RFP is not nearly as common so there are less gear checks.

Started work on this fellow yesterday. Actually really enjoying painting up yet another exemplar.... Also, the stock pose didn't really look dynamic enough, I thought positioning him slightly differently makes for more of an action shot, shooting with both barrels! I am really interested how the deliverers are going to play out when they're updated - I didn't get a chance to play them in CID and I didn't play them before... effectively with the changes they're a whole new unit for protectorate.

I am really interested how the deliverers are going to play out when they're updated - I didn't get a chance to play them in CID and I didn't play them before... effectively with the changes they're a whole new unit for protectorate. Really awesome paint scheme! That durst in the background 0.0 so good! been slowly grinding through my exemplar collection. I am 3 grunts away from having 2 full units painted. Gonna be updating my thread in the painting forum soon with the full units. Every knight has his own paint scheme and heraldry. I am working on free handing patterns now. Its...difficult especially on the wavy capes. But it is a labor of love. Something about giving each knight a story and background based on his paint scheme is just so cool to me. I have been using them with their CiD rules...they die in droves. Like to a stiff fart. So you need to keep them back or have some way of protecting them. Things like blasts, sprays, and e-leaps will wreck them. But for a rock bottom cost that is not necessarily that horrible. Arcing fire+CRA+Pow10+the aoe changing rule have been excellent. I typically do 2, 5 man CRA's with the unit for 2 Pow 15(10) rat 6 AOE5's frome ach unit. I mean...that's a lot of firepower from a 13 point unit. I have been playing them with this testament list: Testament: FM -Heirophant -Guardian -Castigator -Reckoner 2 Max Skyhammers Chior MIn Zealots Max with UA Idrians max with UA 2 Wracks I want to run this: Testament: FM -Heirophant -Revelator min chior 2 Mac skyhammers Zealots max with UA Idrians Max with UA 2 Wracks Villimon Covenant The first list hits surprisingly hard and can mulch infantry. Being able to jam with zealots while you shoot effectively 4 Pow 15(10) AOE 5's from the skyhammers, a varying number of medium to high pow shots from the idrians (potentially a pow 24 CRA if everyone gets involved) and the reckoners shooting you can take down a heavy a turn. at range. Testament just keeps reviving zealots and idrians and the skyammers sit way back. I really want more ranged presence in the list, but I also want a versatile BG if I am taking heavies. The revelator I feel gives me excellent support for the ranged army by removing stealth, and provides excellent firepower to compliment my force. 2 Pow 17's and a couple pow 14's combined with its horrifying Mat 8, P+S 25 melee power with HOV and Battle I think the list has serious legs. I just need a revelator SO if anyone has a spare Rev/Judi kit and wants to give it to me at a fair price Ill take it off your hands

Did you have to do anything special for the reposition or was it the normal shoulder joint?

Did you have to do anything special for the reposition or was it the normal shoulder joint? It connects at the elbow so there isn't any work to be done really, just positioning it differently. I think it looks a lot better than one positioned upwards, and it also should make fitting him in my gaming bag easier.

Durst is a good model for it because he has almost every element that requires colour; white armour, metal weapons, cloth, filigree, flesh etc

Just wanted to post that the next CID update has arrived and Unyielding has been fixed to apply to any melee attack.
