I'm going to be a massive attention-whore and use a click-bait title to link to the thread I just posted in the painting forums in the desperate hope that more people will comment on the piece I just finished: The mighty Juggernaut atop his fallen foeIn my defense I haven't done any painting in ages; I've really not been motivated for a while, so getting this one done is kind of a "thing" for me. Hopefully I'll be able to keep going and build up a bit of momentum. Well, we'll see. |

Good idea. The paint threads are slow so nobody posts so nobody posts because they are slow.
Sometimes some clickbait speeds up momentum.

It's a very interesting concept piece. Is it the end product of miniaturization? Will Khador finally get the tech jump on Cygnar?

If the Juggernauts get that small imagine the size of the Man-O-War! A guy in my LGS pointed out to me that those mini juggies are actually tournament legal as well which made me laugh.

I know what you mean about the Painting sub-forum being slow- I'm pretty bummed that the Pirates I posted a while ago have received zero comments...

If it needs a bit more life, you could always opt for a 'paint & post' thing with several members.

Where can you get the mini juggies? There was a Gencon-exclusive model a few years back called "Thagrosh the painter", where Legion's Thagrosh is painting a mini-Juggernaut. There's been times in the past where you could buy it off the website, though I don't think it's available right now. You can probably get it off ebay, but when I've looked in the past the price was inflated a fair bit over the original's already fairly high price (I believe the original price was around 25 USD).

Yeah, though it's not just this website, the official PP painting forums are pretty quiet too. I don't know if it's something to do with all the changes that are happening to the game, the resurgence of 40K pulling some of the more hobby-minded players away, or just a random lull. For what it's worth I loved your pirates, but as I'd already commented on them on the thread over at the PP forums I felt a bit awkward about saying the same thing again over here. |

Where can you get the mini juggies? As soul samurai said above it's a mini from a mini. Usually you can get it when there's a big convention going on. PP usually allows people to buy even old con exclusives on their website when they go out to a con. It may happen in a week or so, I think they'll be at adeptacon so check the store then. |
