All my beasts run. I try to centralize everything. Krea uses force aura and I drop a cloud in front of my bug. Left (purple) turtle gets +2 arm with the aggy shifting to the right side.

Stuff runs one of the jacks shoots at my bug getting a drift onto it and corroding it.

My opponent has put both tarturus and the arc node jack within 13” of the board edge on the left hand side. My ambushers come in killing tarturus damaging the jack and killing a few banes. The brown archidon charges a bane kills it and sprints back to give my right turtle a good thresher spot (impact attack). The left turtle charges the rest of the banes the ambushers left killing a few and putting all of its shots into the large based jack on that side. The left turle charges the banes impacting 3. Kills all three after a few toughs and puts all its shots into the large based jack in the center then reforms back. The blue archidon charges the banes in front of it in the cloud killing three by getting a crit pitch. After I notice I have let a wide open spot for the wraith engine to kill my SA I sprint the blue archidon between the two models hoping but failing to deny a landing zone. The bug moves up zaadesh drops 2 clouds in front of it with the aggy giving -2 str and running as close to the right SA as it can. Krea moves up to zaadesh and pops aminus.

First my opponent moves up the shooting jack. I counter charge with my brown archidon which the jack then kills landing 3 out of 4 unboosted 8s.

The wraith engine charges my SA. My shaman counter charges doing a few damage. The wraith engine is inside the aggy -2 str and does not kill the SA. My opponent tries to charge with the unit behind the wraith engine but because it is not incorporeal it blocks most charge lanes and one more charge does not kill the SA. My opponent moves the caster up pops feat but can only place 2 banes inside the clouds protecting the bug and does a little damage with the two charges. The gun jack in the back left turns and kills 4 ambushers with rolling 3 8s on the blast damage. The arc node jack turns to kill a few more ambushers and the banes charge the SA leaving it on around 10.

Blue archidon frenzies into the wraith engine. Krea moves up and pops force aura. The PGBH take off fury and enrage the bug. Zaadesh moves up, drops a cloud on the bug, feats, and sits on 2. The bug charges the banes on the right hand side of the purple turtle killing 3 of them. The ambushers move around hit the arc node jack and a bane. The left turtle turns kills all the remaining banes, shoots the jack dead, and reforms back in the center of the zone. The turtle on the right takes a spear attack on the bane killing it then charges the wraith engine killing it shoots a few banes. The shaman moves over and kill the jack in the middle of the table. The aggy crys -2 and runs behind the turtle. I go up to 2 points.

Banes charge the bug and kill it. But not before the turtle uses his defensive strike to kill the double axe bane and the bug kills another bane. The right banes kill the archidon but are unable to kill the shaman. One tries to charge the SA to finish it off but the def strike kills it. Realizing my opponent has to contest my zone or lose they try to move the arc node jack into the cloud to kill zaadesh. Zaadesh counter charges the jack engaging it. The caster then moves up to try to kill zaadesh. The first spell misses because I get both cover and engagement def bonuses and my opponent then tries to kill the jack the spell hits instead but fails. Tossing another spell at zaadesh and not getting the required 16 they pass the turn giving me the win.
Conclusions:
The ambushers were decent as bunching into the middle of the table can be bad against the turtles. I look forward to the CID dropping and they get cheaper. The CID mist speaker guidance being friendly only is required for this list to function. The bug was too slow and should be swapped out for something else. Counter charge with def strike on feat turn causes too many moving parts for your opponent to keep track of all possible positions and mistakes are made. I like zaadesh2 pretty well. After playing the turtles yet again I wonder if changing theme to MoW is worth not being able to take them.
