So are Iron Fangs. Except in Legion of steel. Thats a pretty rediculous statement in my opinion. Both she and the fangs are pretty appropriately priced. What makes you think otherwise? Nearly 20 point for a dedicated melee unit that still dies very easily? He has a point, it's not much though, and arguably the biggest offenders are the Black Dragons, yeah they are good but so is the toolbox offered by the Vanilla pikes & UA. 6 points for a 5 box solo seems a lot buuuut this whole Inhuman Resolve thing is there

Hang on, so, she literally can't die until the next turn, she just gets disabled and knocked down. But if you can't be knocked down, then you'll be disabled while standing up? So even in death, she will not fall? That's... frikkin hilarious, and very cool. Plus the Shield Guard rule says nothing about not being able to use it while disabled, so as long as she's not knocked down she can use it even if disabled? Even better (and sillier). Then I guess if you heal a point from another model dying you're not disabled anymore? As great as it sounds, Protectorate has been doing it for a while with the Exemplar Seneschal+Covenant. To counter it you clear the area around the model with Inhuman Resolve then you take it out last. With nothing to heal off of, they die next turn. But yeah, she can still Shield Guard which is cool. And Shield Guard makes it harder - try to shoot the models near her, she takes the shot and so on. It gives more control over her Inhuman Resolve (or requires opponents to shoot her, but then not shoot the surrounding Fangs) than the Seneschal has. Melee is different, but she should not be easy to take out at range.

Specifically with Irusk2 you can have the whole tough-IR-countercharge through other dudes setup. It's hard not to kil her first when she just countercharged you first guy and is holding that blasting pike of hers like 2" freestrike radius of "nope".
PS13 crit KD weaponmaster is the kind of thing most people will be disinclined to tae freestrikes from.

And people forget the best bit:
Precision Strike PS12 Weaponmaster.
She is alreay hands and feet above other weaponmaster solos, because she does all the damage she wants to what NEEDS to take damage.

Meh, Legion has a non-character, Decapitating, Precision Striking, weapon master and he's not really tearing the scene, partially due to a crappy theme, but even before themes he was good at best. I think her best use is as part of the greater package, Shield Guard plus the Catch-22 of delivering her or delivering the Iron Fangs.

So what happens with her and Irusk2? If she cannot be knocked down, does she just live forever? Or does she just die?

She will still die at the start of the turn, but until then she can still shield guard and free strike. She dies on her feet, like a heroic scene from a film.

She's actually an excellent Electroleap Sponge.
It was such a cool moment have her absorb tons of electric shocks as her compatriots die around her, but survive!

you can shield guard only once in a round meaning you can save only one if at a time if you plan to use shield guard for that. Probably you want to shield guard a valuable solo instead, like malakov.
