So what are people planning on pairing with their blindwater forces, Im gonna run Gaston's Rask list after some consideration, and I'm thinking about throwing in arkadius as the pair, rocking a ranged heavy list of the snake two roadies, two war hogs, a battle boar, and solos to taste. Main thinking is that I'm gonna need something to threaten far and keep my opponents honest, additionally I'm concerned about the ability of posse spam to deal with jack spams like Amon so I think I need a list to push the alpha or force the assassination. I also need to worry about denny1 ghost fleet in my area so I need a list that can deal with lots of infantry hiding in stupid places, also just denny1 shenanigans. Soooo what do y'all think? what do we pair with this incredibly melee focused attrition force?

I'm thinking of my Sturm and Drang clean up crew. I'll see if I can find/recreate it on my conflict chamber. conflictchamber.com/#bb1b_-09bZcwcw0Lfyfy0Ofl0Ofl0SerMinion Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] The Thornfall Alliance (Sturm 1 & Drang 1) Sturm & Drang [+28] - Razor Boar (2) [7] - Razor Boar (2) [7] - War Hog [15] - Battle Boar [7] - Battle Boar [7] Farrow Brigands (max) [15] - Farrow Brigand Warlord [0] Farrow Brigands (max) [15] - Farrow Brigand Warlord [0] Farrow Slaughterhousers [11] Meat Thresher [19]

seems light on the hitting power I want, but definitely interesting, sort of confused about the slaughterhousers and the second battle boar there, I'd probably swing for another heavy or rorsch and brine myself.

I had 3 points left over with another War Hog and wasn't sure exactly how to fill it, since I hate not taking full points.

Ironically Sturm and Drang is actually one of the best pig casters for Slaughterhousers; they make them +2" threat, Arm 17, and Pathfinder charges.

Soooo what do y'all think? what do we pair with this incredibly melee focused attrition force? That's almost exactly my Arkadius list from LnL 2016. I have yet to find a reason to change it either. Two Battle Boars though. I do believe that Rask has game into Amon, I also believe there is basically no way to realistically dojo it due to the match up being very positioning dependent. But by the numbers: 1 Dervish is Arm 16, 26 boxes. That is the equivalent of 1.5 charging, Fury'd Posse. The list has 15 Posse, so 10 dead Dervishii. One Wrastler with Fury, Rage, and Boundless Charge is 5 attacks at Pow 23, 2 at Pow 20. A PoM heavy is Arm 19, 32 boxes. Ergo, a single Wrastler is good for 2 PoM heavies, there are 2 Wrastlers and a Snapjaw in the list, equalling 6 dead heavies. Ergo, the list has the fire power to chew through 10 Dervishes and 6 non-shield heavies, which more than covers the standard Amon lists out there. This in no way means it will work, as it doesn't take into account scenario pressures, Enliven, alpha striking, limited fury to buff models, etc. It just shows that the list is capable of doing the lifting.

Of course he can't, that's why we hate him. Break theme and take Lanyssa, charge them 14" or 12" with PF.

Well that's comforting to hear, as for the Arkadius thing, yeah it might be a little based on some other peoples work, but I feel that Arkadius does not need more than one battle boar with that many sprays. Additionally having a solo load out of targ, orrin, a bokur, a mist speaker and a chef, with bellows crew, gives me flexibility and covers some of those poorer matchups like denny1 and the Haleys. I think my only back and forth has been the bokur over bone grinders, but Dhalia needs a shield guard into cryx and cygnar, and Arakdius doesn't mind the ability to stand a little bit more out in the open either.

I know this is likely un-optimized but I am still trying to find a way to make use of Jaga-Jaga since I bought the mini and like it. Conflict Chamber doesn't have the update yet, but I believe this is correct. (Jaga-Jaga 1) Jaga-Jaga, the Death Charmer [+29] - Blackhide Wrastler [16] - Blackhide Wrastler [16] - Ironback Spitter [15] - Bull Snapper [0] (Free via theme) - Bull Snapper [0] (Free via theme) Gatorman Posse (max) [17] Gatorman Posse (max) [17] Gatorman Posse (max) [17] Totem Hunter [6] Also considered dropping the Ironback and adding three more Bull Snappers...not sure that's a good idea though.

So first off she likes guns so you might want to swap in a unit of croaks for a unit of posse. Also you took 2 free bull snappers and paid for totem Hunter. Buy the snapper and a chef and get the totem Hunter for free.

I know she doesn't specifically boost combat, but her spells all seem geared towards moving up the board and Death Rage field marshal is only useful in combat. Good observation about the chef, I didn't think of that but I will fix it.
