Hello there tree-huggers,
So, Legion player here... Lately I've been having some pretty tough matchups against Circle. Someone from Trollbloods asked this question on the Legion sub-forums, so I figured I'd give it a try over here. When facing Legion of Everblight, what do you not want to see across the table?
Thanks in advance to any feedback! Really appreciate it.

Honestly The only thing I really hate seeing from legion is The naga nightlurker. That but cheek basically makes my Baldur 2 lists irrelevant.
Oracles sucks but I have had a surprising amount of success with Wurmwood and Krueger 2. Heck I have even had success with Mohsar into legion lists that weren't Lilith.
Who do you normally face in Circle? I can help you tech to beat the casters you typically see. Baldur 2 hates Wraithbane and any model with High speed and pathfinder/flight can cause issues to our stable of casters.

There are a couple things that can be used against most Circle builds but it usually makes a big difference who you face.
One thing to consider, much like Legion, Circle doesn't usually take a hit well. We often rely on alpha-strikes, terrain and high def (idealy buffed). Some builds also lean heavily on board control. Your ambushing units can force your opponent into tight spots and beasts like the neraph will be able to push around/punish our high def units and maybe blunt our alphas.
What do you usually run?

I've found the most success with Rhyas and Fyanna. They're the two best warlocks I currently have.

The last time I played Legion was in a steamroller. He dropped Lylyth3, and it seemed pretty legit. She stationaried my griffins and proceeded to stomp them with her army.

Oracles with all the flappy things gives us headaches. it ignores rough terrain Moves incredibly fast and out threats us Hits hard and accurately has exceptional threat vectors All of these things would normally be pretty nice to throw down Baldur 2....but then you guys have the naga and that match up goes south fast. If you are playing into Kromac 1 a lot Just play safe with Fyana, use the feat after you alpha hard (you should get the alpha) and win on the grind.

I'm kind of surprised you're having so much trouble. I only had success against Legion with Kruger2 but that was in Mk2. I haven't played against Legion in the post theme-force era but they seem strong.
How are you losing? Is it Morv1 and Kromac1? What are your lists like? It's hard to help without details.

I'm usually out-threated, and generally everything in circle hits harder, and has better defensive stats. The only thing Legion has going for it against Circle is the range of its guns, but Baulder1 just kinda negates that.
