But none of those things exist in the world, so I'd have no problem with my daughters seeing those (when they are a little older). I'm not worried they are going to decide that they should turn into bipedal gators, summon zombies or cast spells (I might be worried if they believed they could, but that's a different issue). I am worried about the day to day pressure for them to be considered attractive by posing in a sexualised way with a strangely phallic object. It's not the skin per se, it's the skin, and the pose and the accessory. If this small set of models are have you so worried that your daughters will not turn out the way you want then you should not introduce them to this game in the first place. Since there is a lot worse things in this game, and setting then sexualised poses. Like Killing, cannibalism, slavery, torture, crucifixion, corruption, war crimes, piracy, religious subjugation, religious/ritualistic sacrificing, pyromania, ect. With the exception of crucifixion (local churches seem really keen on it in specific circumstances), the items on that list don't appear generally in day to day life. It's the casual reinforcement of a gendered norm of sexualised behaviour which is so annoying (see also things like this). I can deal with explaining why exceptional behaviour is wrong (basic empathy covers most of it), but I think most parents know that trying to explain why something is not desirable or acceptable when lots of people around them do it/accept it is much harder. Daddy's hobby reinforcing the gendered norm does not help with that. At least in my experience, children pick up on hypocrisy very quickly.

Nailed it there. Constructive dialogue at its best. Its pretty much what this always comes down to. "stop liking what I don't like" and "x bad idea should be replaced with y bad idea". Sort of my point, so I think we may agree here. (In this particular case with an added flavour of sexism, but that's been covered over & over again too, so nothing new there. PP does seem to want to keep up the aesthetic.)

Just vote with your wallet. If there's no market for this type of model, then PP will stop making them.
While I generally disagree with arguments in these types of threads, I do agree that this is a pretty dumb looking model....

This is your last warning before we lock this. You're allowed to have different opinions, but don't start insulting each other over it.

to be honest its not that bad i dont know what the big deal about it its an alt sculpt for the squire, or at least thats what others said earlier in the thread. which doesnt make sense at allllll. also, where in cygnar is there a giant rocket type lance thing that might be construed as phallic? EDIT: not that i really think it looks phallic, im just stating previously stated opinions. key word being "might"

I think her leg armour and her helmet are both meant to look a bit Squire-esque. I think that's the logic at work. What most people object to seems to be the enormous staff/rocket she is holding. And I don't really get it either. Where did the idea for the rocket come from? What is the connection between a rocket and a squire, or a pinup? If I got it, then maybe it would make sense, but I don't.

I imagine the staff is supposed to be the technology that does all the squire stuff, she just carries it around.
