I think Kreoss 2 could have been helped out a lot by the interdiction theme, if only the theme actually helped your exemplar models in the first place. K2 would have been great if the theme that he would clearly be part of from a fluff perspective gave some sort of way of delivering the exemplar models...
As he is, I agree he is a strictly worse Vinnie. I think he is also the worst of the three Kreoss to boot!

As he is, I agree he is a strictly worse Vinnie. I think he is also the worst of the three Kreoss to boot! Easily. K3's passive boost to vengers already puts him above K2, simply because vengers are already decent and their sheer speed value van usually deliver them. K1 has a feat that wins games and Lamentation for the turns he's not using it.
But I ask you, what exemplar buffs were you hoping to see that couldn't be better used by Vindictus, Harbinger, or High Reclaimer?

I don't think there could be any, unless they were a buff that affected exemplar type models only - so K1,2,3 would get the benefit where the other casters wouldn't - and was really worth it on k2.
I don't think it is needed/healthy that K2 be the best at running exemplar just cos he is the head exemplar, but at the moment he is so far behind the other casters I would prob run Feora2 in interdiction before K2...
What I am hoping for is K2 gets visited in the exemplar CID, and the theme also gets tweaked to make you want to take the exemplar of its namesake.

Yeah it's funny that the Exemplar theme is a decent Jack theme.
Also the fact that both of our infantry themes give something to Jacks and the Jack theme doesn't is hilarious to me.

Ok what if Kreoss 2 gained an ability that gave Exemplar Solos Countercharge?
Countercharging Gravus and Knights E Senny's could be awesome!

but in the end I doubt that'd help all that much. K2 is, IMO, in need of a kraye level rework. Keep the autohitting part of the feat and his statline, let literally everything else be in flux. One anti-magic spell, two or three delivery/defense buff spells, a token useless nuke, get an exemplar elite cadre in there. One thing stands out to me, he NEEDS pathfinder or he'll never match vindictus.
Chosen ground and elite cadre tough exemplar is not my preferred way to go, but hoo boy would it hurt, and it'd fit the above suggestion.

As written, Vengers do not get the additional attack provided by Kreoss2's Feat. The Lance can only be used on the charge attack and the sword cannot be used if a charge extending beyond 3" was made.
If you want multiple attacks from Vengers on Kreoss2's Feat turn, you have to walk them in.

If you want multiple attacks from Vengers on Kreoss2's Feat turn, you have to walk them in. Vengers can get the second attack, the rule for their sword states that it only can't be used for the initial attack in a charge. So under Kreoss 2's feat you can charge with the lance and follow up with the sword.

Bah, you are correct. I mistakenly thought that Kreoss2’s extra attack counted as an initial.
