tjhairball - attachments do not come to theme lists on their own. They can only come if the unit that they are attached to is allowed in the list. So you do not need to list the greylord escort individually, otherwise Valachev would be automatically included on the list as well. Murder of crows can not be played as a free spell at the beginning of the game due to the fact that the rule says "models/units begin the game with...". Since murder does not start on a unit it does not count. The fact that some units have attachments does matter in terms of measuring the diversity of the selection, just as the fact that some keywords have more units than others. Allowing the Winter Guard Infantry unit, for example, gives you modules ranging from 6 point penny packets to 20 point major units, with significantly different capabilities. Allowing the Winter Guard Field Gun gives you exactly one new possible packet.

I agree that attachments can effect how many points you have the option to spend. I'm merely pointing out that you don't need to list them individually under the models allowed.

Bubba made a very convincing case for old witch 2 with this theme, and it does look pretty awesome.
Personally, I'm looking forward to having Butcher 2 out!
(Butcher 2) Kommander Orsus Zoktavir [+28] - Juggernaut [12] - Ruin [17] Greylord Forge Seer [0(4)] Doom Reaver Swordsmen [13] - Greylord Escort [0(3)] Doom Reaver Swordsmen [13] - Greylord Escort [0(3)] Doom Reaver Swordsmen [13] - Greylord Escort [3] Doom Reaver Swordsmen [13] - Greylord Escort [3] Doom Reaver Swordsmen [13] - Greylord Escort [3]
5 units of doomies! A forge seer! Berserk on the Juggernaut and Fury on Ruin! Everything running full tilt turn 1 and smashing into enemy lines for absolute mayhem!
There is nothing not hilarious about this!

Hmm, perhaps Ruin can make better use of Berserk thanks to his 2" reach and better MAT? Plus you want to kill infantry with him for souls? Meanwhile you throw the Juggernaut in first with Fury as he's expendable?

That also works well!
Heck, depending on how things go I might not even be able to upkeep it turn 2 if I only roll 2 focus.

Blarg looks up at the glowing beauty that floats before him, basking in its radiance. His face is lit up with a soft golden glow, showing a child-like smile and eyes that look like they are beholding something of wonder. What is he looking at? Is it an angel? Is it Santa Claus coming to give him his favorite toy? Hugh Hefner with the key to the back door of the Playboy Mansion? No, it is none of these... It is the most perfect and simple of Doom Reaver army lists.

i am missing something, is this a benefit of new greylord theme? Why yes. The new theme comes with the following benefit: Reavers Radiance: If your army includes 40 or more points of Doomreaver models/units, your models emit the ever glowing light of the Empress, and friendly players tear up with joy, and enemy players tremble in fear and awe. For every 10 additional points of Doomreaver models in your army, one more nearby player stops what they're doing and comes to watch your game.
