I hope they'll give us some rules/suggestions to create our own, kinda balanced scenarios. It would be cool f.e., to use the banned huge base models as terrain elements, like a Sacral Vault that moves around the board in a path, and shoot everythang that moves too close to it. Or it can guard an important passageway, and you have to run past through it's threat range, or else it shoots your soul into pieces. That would be really cool.

This sounds really cool, but I'm still traumatized from the Company of Iron League from back in mk2.
Aiming Widowmakers hit Daughters of the Flame on 4s...they ignore Knight Exemplar's armor buff...ugh, the flashbacks....

As I read there will be more terrain here, that could mean more of them will be close to each other, so their job won't be as easy this time.

The original Company of Iron was okay. Some factions had crazy advantages. As mentioned, Khador had Widowmakers, Doom Reavers, and a Manhunter. The Widowmakers alone made life pretty rough for all the other infantry.
The concept was good, though. And we're supposed to have much more control over what models we bring in this edition. It could be pretty fun.

There will be OP units in this CoI too if they won't close out character models. (Or debuff them in some way) Like f.e. Acosta who, as I imagine, will be a living nightmare in this game mode: if there'll be no warcaster support, aoes, or some kd effect (which usually comes from warjack guns, or artillery), he can cut down whole units, or light warjacks alone. Combined attacks can kill him too, but it will be much more complicated to use with the alternating activations.

Stronger units like Widowmakers limit your hand size more.

Already potentially addressed. You have a lot more faith and optimism than I do, that's for sure.
I want it to be good, so I don't have a collection of models for no good reason, but...

Do we know how combined attacks work? Perhaps they will allow various models to activate as 1 when they combine their attack?

Do we know how combined attacks work? Perhaps they will allow various models to activate as 1 when they combine their attack? Dunno, but I think it's gonna be like that you have to do some kind of a gamble by sending your troops to the same target one-by-one, declare the participation in the combined attack, while the enemy can kill these participating models because of alternating activations, then once you decide to make an actual attack with a model from the unit who still not activated this turn, you get the bonus after the participants. If this will be the way to do this, CRA will be much safer than CMA. Edit: I didn't saw this in the previous pages, but War Room gonna support this?

Edit: I didn't saw this in the previous pages, but War Room gonna support this? I'm guessing it won't really have a problem. You are just using WM units and solos. You can build a list like that in war room right now. They might add a "Company of Iron" switch, like they do right now for Steamroller, that can update the card rules if they are different in CoI.

Ahem Company of iron.... ahem Will be free from haleys time powers causer no warcasters. There i saved it. We're back on topic Well, that's what you think. Personally I'm just waiting for Cygnar's fourth journeyman that is actually Time travelling, younger Haley from an alternate dimension. She'll be focus 4 (becuz Haley), and have a 4 cost spell that makes all enemy models in her control area stationary. You just wait, Haley will be in Company of Iron as a Jr. Anyway, moving to the Haley/Mary Sue thread. Pretty sure I heard the jrs weren't allowed. That's why they had to create a rule for that game to jackmarshal warbeasts.

I'm interested in the Company of the Iron.
Any new info on it from lock and load?
How customizable will it be? What are some sample scenarios?
Will rules be free?
