Right but I don't think what he said was hyperbole in the way you are implying and I feel like you have answered with what is currently bugging you (fair enough). Additionally there is definitely a core group of people on this forum who are hyperbolic in the other direction. You think everything is ok, always, you just don't get that that sort of attitude is just as useless in moving the faction forward as complaining that we are always underpowered. You kind of need a balance of positive and negative criticism. Menoth is in a bit of a weird place. It is still trying to find where it fits in to MK3 and I can understand perfectly that it sometimes feels like we spend a lot of time trying "to make things work" when some things should just work more easily. But acting the whole time like everything is basically where it should be and that people are asking that everything be the best in it's role is ridiculous. I mean the CID exists for a reason and Menoth is not really currently winning any best in role prizes... P.s. do we have any news on the new models abilities etc Nothing we say on forums other than CID "moves the faction forward" in a meaningful way. The only thing to decide is, do I want to read optimistic talk that can't change anything, or negative talk that can't change anything? On the whole, I'd prefer the first option. Because every now and then, they're going to find a way to make something work, and, this is the big thing, it just makes the community a more fun place to hang out in. You don't have to be a blindly positive Pollyanna to find the endless griping, even when it's accurate, to be just plain exhausting and ugly. On the Facebook page, it's acknowledged that some things are duds, some matchups are hard, but people seem to prefer talking about what they enjoy. Oh, and there's an update from Jay Larsen: The champion of the order of the wall will go into the Creators Might theme along with the other paladins. He will have a leadership ability that gives retaliatory strike to other paladins.
EDIT: they are actually currently planned to be a new theme- Faithful Masses, the zealot theme.

So unless it's Harbinger, I fail to see how can this be useful, since that one attack supposed to trigger it will kill the paladin anyway 9,999 times of 10.
Nice to know beforehand.

Also according to Will Shick, the new Exemplar Warder solo "shoots things good", so maybe he'll be an Errant of some variety that will do good things to the unit.

Sure...if it's a heavy warjack. It requires POW 16 boosted or POW 19 normal to one-shot on average. If so, the opponent is using some 10+ points and often a focus to kill a 4 point model, which still has like a 40% chance of not dying and hitting you back anyway. Can I have some?

What Paladins do we have for a Paladins theme? They mentioned Zealots so is this kind of a "catch what isn't in theme yet" kinda thing? Think we will we be able to take the monk too?

Quite possible IMHO. Faithful masses still need "encouragement". Things like VoJ and paladins inspire and protect, monks and scrutator elements intimidate and control. Carrot and stick.

Oh, here's an update on the Exemplar Solo- may have Both Barrels. So gun-Exemplar? Dual crossbow? Who knows?

I think that this would be the third solo with a ranged attack (or fourth, if you count the Arms-Master's range 6 grenade). For those interested, we have: Errant Seneschal, Nicia and now Exemplar Solo

Based on the name of the rule I will assume he actually has a shotgun or another weapon with two literal barrels. We have many spells and abilities that have the same rules with different names for the sake of lore. I feel like something similar would happen if it was a crossbow. Could be a crossbow with two sets of arms I suppose. Just my musings though.

A cool heavy crossbow (or ballista, or else) is what I am betting on. Also with a size matching bastion-sized model it has a potential to have a really nice complex detailed and ornate sculpt. Heck, this 2-model announcement is the first time I am really excited about PoM since MK3 has been revealed. Feels wierd.

dual crossbow is both fitting to existing themes and already used in-universe (In circle: Reeves?), so I'm betting that one. Fingers crossed for a self-saccable crossbow master?
