Welcome All Stonefathers, Claywives, and Children of Dhunia alike.
We've always had a home on the PP Forums, so I see no reason why we shouldn't have a home here. Searforge lives on with us. The Clans live on. The Moot Guard remain ever vigilant. The Codex will be carried forward. From our distant relatives atop the Glass Peaks, to our closest cousins dwelling within the ancient halls of Ghord. This is where we will call home.
Currently working on repainting my entire Rhulic army, including repurchasing any models that are too heavily painted to strip and reuse.
I've got my Battlebox done (Ossrum, 3 Gunners, and a Driller) and now I'm moving onto a Bokur and a max unit of Ogrun Assault Corp.
I've played 2 games so far in MK3, lost one, won one. Really enjoying getting back into playing. I've been sticking with the Hammer Strike theme, and have simply been referring to it as Searforge, since for now, it is.
My goal is to have a 75pt list painted by TempleCon, assuming TempleCon happens this year.
What's everyone else up to?
“Players shouldn't be afraid of their Game Developers. Game Developers should be afraid of their Players.”
As a guy who gets to play so rarely, I'm mostly just maintaining focus on my Rhulfolk modeling and painting. My second Siege Crawler mod, with working side and rear hatches and rotating turret, needs the troopers on it painted up. I actually had a left over Bokur who I converted into a mechanic on its base.
Oh, and since its spring break (i'm a teacher), I've been theorycrafting double Siege Crawler + mechanic + artillerist support lists.
BTW, thanks for starting this Rhulic thread. I still see no merc faction sticky in the Tactics area of the new PP forum. Unlike some other factions, maybe the mercs just said "F it" and moved to greener (more profitable) pastures.
Another glorious day in the corps! Every meal’s a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade! I love the corps!
I just started touching up the mediocre paint jobs on my Gorton Grundback box set. I was fortunate to find one still in a store about 5 years ago and painted Gort and the gun bunnies, but I think my skills and technique have increased since then. I just dug my untouched Forge Guard box and Driller out of storage - it's primed but I still don't have a good idea of what paint scheme I'd like to use. The other models are red and brass to match my Khador, but I've been thinking of doing any new Khador models I get as 5th Border Legion and my Forge Guard can't work for Khador anyhow.
