I built this the other day. I haven't played it yet. What do you guys think of pairing him with Doomy 2 in ADR? Trollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] The Power of Dhunia (Ragnor 1) Ragnor Skysplitter, The Runemaster [+30] - Dire Troll Bomber [19] - Dire Troll Bomber [19] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Earthborn Dire Troll [15] - Troll Axer [10] - Trollkin Runebearer [0] Janissa Stonetide [0] Troll Whelps [0] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (min) [6] - Stone Scribe Elder [3] Trollkin Runeshapers [9] Trollkin Runeshapers [9] I run Alot of Ragnor in my meta- I have 3 lists that I used depending on pair I want to run MKfireeater, POD, and doublebomber. Your list extremely close to the doublebomber list I have been working on. I've found the Axer to not be needed with double bomber Ragnor as once your bomber is in range to attack you normally have to feat. I ended up removing him and that opened up some other items. In the end I guess it would depend on the lists your wanting to play into and pair with but my front line is normally 2x bombers and 2x storm trolls(great for the warjack heavy meta in my area). For fury I generally start with 2 whelps in play to help with fury after opening. Also I feel 2 groups whelps is overkill as your gonna lose a bomber or another heavy most of the time even with feat up. Worst that happens is one of your trolls fails his check and does more damage, but that is still hard with POD theme. All in all your list looks great, I'll post my double bomber Ragnor below to maybe give you some ideas or for you all to give me some. Theme: The Power of Dhunia Ragnor Skysplitter, the Runemaster - WB: +30 - Trollkin Runebearer - PC: 4 - Dire Troll Bomber - PC: 19 - Dire Troll Bomber - PC: 19 - Dire Troll Mauler - PC: 15 - Storm Troll - PC: 9 - Storm Troll - PC: 9 Janissa Stonetide - PC: 0 Troll Whelps - 5 Whelps: 0 Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes - Leader & 5 Grunts: 9 - Stone Scribe Elder - PC: 3 Trollkin Runeshapers - Leader & 2 Grunts: 9 Trollkin Runeshapers - Leader & 2 Grunts: 9 Bunker - Steamroller Objective 75/75

What do you guys think of pairing him with Doomy 2 in ADR? So far I've felt pretty good about it, better than Ragnor/Horgle or Doomshaper2/Horgle. The only issues I've had with the pairing is what to put in Doomshaper2's sideboard. Matchups have been generally ok, I have game into the boogeymen in my meta, to the point where it's at least a 50/50 advantage. My lists: Ragnor - Runebearer - Bomber - Mauler - Axer - Bouncer Janissa Whelps/Chronicler/Shaman Runeshapers x 4 Krielstone min - Elder - Sorcerer Sideboard: Bomber Axer Bouncer Doomshaper2 - Runebearer - Mulg - Blitzer - Mauler - Earthborn - Axer - Bouncer Shaman x 2 Krielstone min - Elder - Sorcerer Dhunian Knot Sideboard: Mauler Slag Storm Whelps

I am looking forward to the release of the seaking so I can put together my three wise men (3 kings) list with Ragnor. 100 pt list that sounds like a ton of fun, with Power of Dhunia theme, that is 4 free models as well. Aside from them, I think I can fit in a light beast and a min unit of the stone with UA. Haha, it will be a ton of fun, literaly.

I played Ragnor for the first time last night and had a great game. Unfortunately my opponent had the worst dice luck I have ever seen! I ended the game with every beast still alive but he was able to take out my stone and lots of whelps. Lol
My list was: Ragnor Runebearer Bomber Bomber Mauler Mauler Earthborn Storm Troll Whelps Whelps Max Stone & UA
Quick overview Round 1: ran everything forward and dropped all into the stone. Round 2: moved everything ahead and dropped bombs (taking out all but one member of the choir (protectorate) and a vassel. I left a few guys in range of Jack charges but waited to feat. I assumed I would lose two. On his turn two he tried to take out 3 heavies and rolled unlucky, taking out none of them. He also feated and removed all but 3 members of the stone. Round 3: I took a Jack off the board and most of a unit. He was not putting scenario pressure on so I stayed in a very defensive setup and feated. I took out most of a unit, snacking my hurt bomber and mauler back up to about half health. Under my feat he rolled unlucky again and was unable to take out a single heavy (even with only 15 boxes left and eye of menoth in his face). Round 4: the bomber surviving left his caster in a very poor spot. I ran a mauler forward, threw the eye out of the bombers melee and charged his caster for the win.

Would love to be proven wrong though.

Yes, 100 point list, I know, I know, how dare I talk about alternate formats of play! We are pretty casual and an all huge base army fighting against the Protectorate with its two colossal and gaston running a galleon sounds like a lot of fun. We might as well do colossal wrestling.
