I like the Fulcrum, I think it's good and it'll play but saying that it is the best BG or saying it is self-contained makes no sense. It demands either around 50% of a warlock's fury stack or demands over 16pts of words to have boosts. It's a mid-range shooter, mid range resilience for the highest cost. It lacks the ability to setup targets with KD, a very strong ability that a lot of BEs have, it can't charge deep into enemy lines shooting powerful AOEs nor can it stay back and pressure a huge area like the gun platforms. It sits on a cool middle ground.

It seems to me that PP value fury management very highly and that may be part of the reason the Fulcrum is as expensive as it is. That said, it offers a lot to Bones of Orboros and I assume there will be a future Blackclad Theme Force where it can help those Mist Riders hit for a change (or maybe it's just mine who are notoriously inaccurate).
I played the Fulcrum a lot with Baldur2 theme in mk2. It added anti-infantry and the damage output wasn't bad when you boosted. The elemental immunities were brilliant into Protectorate and Legion back then and should be brilliant into Cygnar now. After the CID it also has fury management and more boxes. I admit that I will mainly be using it in Bones of Orboros but I think it is more than playable (although I am still going to tinker with a Kaya1 list for Occultation). The Fulcrum + 2 Woldwyrds package seems like a generally good idea.

Yes great point on fury management! It seems the battle engines fury manage and +1 attack will unlock huge battle groups in bones of orboros for 6 fury casters like Baldur and tannith and bradigus.
I already feel circle can run as hot as it wants with shifting stones and stone shapers and constructs that dont frenzy. This seems pushes it over the edge.
lol Legion watch out! At least legions fury management is easy to kill. Let's see how many random aoe deviations kill shepards vs the fulcrum.

I'm really keen to try out this Una2 variant:
Una2 Gorax 5 x Scarsfells Gorax 2 x Wyrds Fulcrum full reeves + UA
Keeping Una alive should be too hard between windwall and hiding behind the fulcrum, you have a frightening shooting phase between the fulcrum, reeves and wyrds, and hot-swapping Hand of Fate between reeves and the fulcrum really should push that shooting phase into something terrifying. If anyone tries to jam you, they're gonna eat 5 griffons under Una's joyful guidance.
I just wish I could fit in shifting stones.

Took the BE to a local steamroller event with both my lists today. Ran:
eKreuger -Megalith -Pureblood -Pureblood -Woldwyrd -Woldwyrd
Celestial Fulcrum
Shifting Stones Shifting Stones
Gallows Grove Gallows Grove
Tanith (Bones) -Loki -Woldwyrd -Woldwyrd -Woldwrath
Celestial Fulcrum
Blackclad Blackclad Gallows Grove Gallows Grove Stoneshaper Stoneshaper
Shifting Stones Shifting Stones
I don't think I need to give a full play-by play and instead I'll focus on the BE in each matchup and how it contributed. Game 1 was vs Stryker 1 with eKreuger. -BE was able to contribute significant damage onto the Stormwall initially and then freeze and put fire onto a unit of lances which decimated them over a couple of turns. No upkeeps makes them sad.
Game 2 eKreuger vs Kara Sloan -Helped kill a hunter before it was blown off the table bottom of 2 (along with a Wyrd and a Pureblood). Sad times.
Game 3 Tanith vs Andrei Malakov -Contributed not insignificant damage to a couple of Warjacks. Got the Crit freexe on 1 through his feat to keep it from scoring a zone as he forgot to shake. Survived till it was charged by a fully loaded Marauder but the game was sealed by that point. (Honestly I'm shocked that the list was able to remove 5 Heavies from the table. By the end I had everything still alive along but the huge bases and Blackclads while my opponents surviving heavies were messed up enough that Wyrds would finish them off. Scything Touch is amazing).

I really like that Tanith list a lot! Mine replaces the Wrath with a couple Wardens and sentry stones though. Hmmmm. May have to try a Wrath in my variant

The Woldwrath makes a solid anchor to the list. I was a little sceptical at first at how well it would hold up to 7 Khador Jacks but when they are effective armour 18 they melt to guns a lot of the time (or at least make a really big dent) and the Woldwrath is on clean up duty. I could totally see a second BE in place of Loki, but I think both are valid options.
