It is great that so many ppl already found their way here. This seems like the most likely candidate for where the community will end up when things settle down. If you like me despise facebook and reddit but still want to discuss nerd stuff with your peers, a forum is the best way to do it!
However, it will take a while for the community to grow and settle down here. We who ant this to succeed can help speed up the process though by doing two things.
1) Spread the word. I take every opportunity to inform players that this forum exists. I edited my signature on the PP forum so that every post i make there will contain the info that there is a new forum in town. This is easily done, and YOU could help there too
2) Post useful and interesting things. I do not mean we should spam to get our post counts high, but if ppl come here and no discussion is happening, those ppl might not return very often. We who are already here thus have a "responsibility" to keep the kettle boiling in the beginning. The more interesting discussion we have, the bigger the chance that ppl who browse buy will register and join us. A dead forum is sort of a self fulfilling prophecy. No one posts because no one posts. So, if you have interesting dojo, or questions or what ever, make an effort and post. It will pay off in the long run!
