Hi! Not sure if we are ready to jump into lists or if this is the the place, but I have been trying out a pMorv and Mohsar pair that I Would appreciate feedback on.
I made the following pMorv list to combat stupid shooting assassinations from L1,2,3, Sloan, whoever. Sac pawn to cheap bloodweavers is crippling. It turns out it hits hard and has fun game into plenty of list types. Original credit to Moot Point.
Mohsar is to combat jack spam from khador, and stupid ret and coc colossals.
I'm a reasonably competitive player, so I'm hoping for feedback on what the pair is strong and weak against.

Sad no one responded (lol). I won a local steamroller this weekend w this pair. Morv1 took on wurmwood in a close round 1. Arm 22 woldwrath survived a primaled ghettorix and Loki. The bloodtrackers dominated the whole right side of the board and made scenario win possible. The fast stealth regrowth bloodtrackers make an amazing screen for hard hitting wolves and slaughterhousers. The bloodweavers seem to be good solo hunters w gang.
Mohsar played into a beast brick and dominated. I never casted CoS. Pillars to block lanes when opponent has low number of attacks was good. Sun hammer was more funny and confusing then useful. Seems to play wel into stuff like amon or kaya 3.
Anyway. Would still appreciate someone highlighting bad matchups for the pair if feeling generous.

Grats on the win! If I had any useful insight, I'd share, but you've now won more tournaments than I have played in the last 18 months so...

Noice! Got the response. Oh brother, played morv1 into grymkin tonight and it was brutal. So much rfp. Also the beast that gains strength and arm from souls got fury on it from the heretic and one rounded woldwrath. Lol asp the heretic has rebuke and access to no charge arcana. Super fun.

Ya some of those grymkin are pretty twisted. Been checking out some batreps in the CID forum and looking forward to playing against their final form.

I'm not really an expert on morv1 I think you should try building her in the Tharn or wolves of Orboros theme though. I'm pretty knowledgeable on Moh.
I like your list. But I have some suggestions. 1) replace lanyssa with another blackclad. Wayfarers are a great toolbox solo I always have success and prefer the teleport, battle wiz reach and Spray to lanyssas abilities. 2) Find a way to put 2 units of Sentry stone and manikins on there! They are such a versatile unit. Blocking LiS killing infantry and solos in droves, jamming, Crevasse origin targets/threat extenders. Spray targets. 3) Replave the second stalker with Loki. He's amazing and plays into Mohsar a guerilla style of fighting.
Mohsar is great into All melee army's and terrible into gunlines. He tends to not have much in the ways of staying power. Always use maltreat and only cast sunhammer when your opponent has 5+ jacks/beasts. SoF is one of my favorite spells with him. You can use it in so many ways particularly for scenario.

Great feedback thanks!
Morv1 - fair point about themes. I want to argue that having two small based full units one range one melee is really useful. But I'll just have to try all wolves. She is the anti gunline btw. Amazing w stealth and sac pawn and the fatty woldwrath as anchor.
Moh - 1) I think the bcw over lanyssa is preference rather than strictly better. I won a game last week against convergence by sticking her behind a forest and removing pathfinder to keep colossal and jack out of zone for a turn. Just like the options if keeping 2 hunters mark. 2) Too true. Was trying to be cute without them but see new list below. 3) Awesome point. Just got him painted up and in there. 4) The lists w wyrds look probably better than mine.
I'm liking Moh so far but he's tricky. I lost a game basically wasting fury being too cute w sands of fate. I've won games against low attack armies. I've removed Colossials on 2 occasions with 1 stalker, CoS, primal. And I've lost to makeda2 with 2 unit cats (they never die w so few attack - sentry stones will help).
Mohsar the Desertwalker - WB: +27 - Druid Wilder - PC: 4 - Warpwolf Stalker - 19 (Battlegroup Points Used: 19) - Pureblood Warpwolf - 17 (Battlegroup Points Used: 8) - Loki - PC: 19 - Gorax Rager - PC: 7
Blackclad Wayfarer - PC: 4 Lanyssa Ryssyl, Nyss Sorceress - PC: 4
Shifting Stones - Leader & 2 Grunts: 3 Sentry Stone & Mannikins - Leader & 3 Grunts: 5 Sentry Stone & Mannikins - Leader & 3 Grunts: 5 Wolves of Orboros - Leader & 9 Grunts: 11 - Wolves of Orboros Chieftain & Standard - Chieftain & Standard Bearer: 4

Lanyssa is defaniteley a preference thing. I've just found Blackclads more usefull for me.
I like that second list. Play it a bit and see how it feels. It looks pretty solid to me!
Relying on Stealth for a gunline drop when Mohsar is so allergic to guns is incredibly risky. Any gunline that ignores Stealth (Which there are a few of) or Chucks around AoEs like candy is going to hard counter both your lists. Just be wary of those match ups.

Definitely not relying on stealth against gun lines. Just a plus against lists like legion and Sloan where only the battle group is guaranteed to ignore. So those dumb Archors or raptors still have to suffer. The aoe fear is so real. Lol maybe I'll seek out a game against kreoss 1 and see if I want this anymore. Knock down or stationary or rebuke is so brutal against this. Anyway. Appreciate ur thoughts. ill try to update hear w games. Thanks for the Mohsar tactics btw.

Played 2 games against Thagrosh 1 recently. Ran Mohsar both times.
Switched over to a battlegroup with 2 woldwyrds, wild argus, pureblood, Loki and it seemed like a pretty favorable matchup against Legion a lot of the time solely because of Purgation. Lol I switched out Lanyssa for a second Wayfarer so I could get 12" stone jump and sands of fate combo. Also, Curse of Shadows combined with wyrds, mannequin sprays, blackclad sprays, mohsar spray will get rid of a heavy pretty quickly. Charging in the wild argus for a dopple bark and boosted combo strike at pow 16 and arm -2 is also pretty crazy to get things start off. Loki and Pureblood can hang back and take shots or try and drag something in. Overall, a pretty fun list. It really seems to punish ppl who don't bring shooting, but still wondering how it does against combined range/melee (would drop Morvahna against heavy shooting).
Side note - still haven't played the Lylith 2 or Sloan matchup with Morv1, but I still think it's strong. macdaddy made great point about sprays, aoes, e-leaps tho.

Woldwyrds with Blessed and Curs of shadows into most things will be a bad time for your opponent I for one cant wait to see the changes to the fulcrum. I will most likely be adding him to my mohsar lists after the CID

Yah I saw that insider and it looks cool. Leaching to gain furry is great. I don't understand he expected timeline on cid and proposed changes. Ppl are talking like it's a couple months, but I am thinking those battle engine changes are like 6 months away. Lol just enough time for me to buy, assemble, and paint one.

Changed up morvahna a little. It's fun to think about questions and answers. The question is obvious. Can you handle regenning bloodtrackers and dood swarm anchored by arm 22 woldwrath. It provides answers to low volume hi pow attacks (mainly shooting).
After some games and thinking about that answer above, I switched out farrow slaughterhousers (who hit hard) for gator bokor and shamblers (same point cost). The pigs never actually make it to the fight because they are the only low defense and non stealth targets besides the wolves of orboros. I figure the bokor can screen for the wolves w shamblers and collect corpses from wolves that get killed.
As always, any feedback is appreciated. I understand that the best players are leveraging the most powerful casters in ways that are powerful and creative. I still feel the game has almost endless unexplored combinations that newer players can have fun with, learn from, and win with.

I don't pay much attention to Morv1 or Mohsar. Both caster have limited feats and that is a huge disadvantage IMO. Some casters are their feats plus perks... Those two have nice perks...
A question: Have you tried Morvahnna with Druids? They are kinda bad ATM but you get imortal sac pawns against any elemental attacks, a rolling cloud Wall and good synergy with WWrath's animus...

For purpose of not working at work and keeping the convo going, I do and don't disagree w you about the feats. It is true that I've had a tough time getting morvahnas feat to go. That being said I hope I can get it to work like this - playing against a gunline. A lot of gun lines use a screening unit. Prey that screen unit. Fear and charge the screen w bloodtrackers to both remove the screen and create an Los blocking forest wall. Probably way too specific to consistently work.
Moh's feat is devastating against hordes. The other player gets uptight to the point of distraction when forcing their beats. Against WM, I've had small success creating focus problems for casters like Amon who need power up. Either way, you are probably right on both occasions.
About the druids, that's a really cool interaction. I tried it at first with morv1 and found 2 things. - 16 points and no heavy hitters other than wrath leaves u pretty bare upfield when using them as sac pawns. Also gun lines (the that often ignore stealth) just bombard the 7 man druids rather than the regrowth bloodtrackers.
So far I've had limited success w Mohsar and a weirdly high rate of success w morvahna. The disclaimer to all of this is that I don't play top tourneys or practice against studs.
