At my LGS we had a bottom of the barrel tournament with no theme forces allowed, I went 4/0 and won the event.
Casters available for khador were Old Witch1, Zerkova2, Butcher2 and Vlad3.
I went with the following list

Scenario were 2016 scenario
Game 1: Recon
Vlad3 vs Garryth
His list had garryth Sentinels helios, discordia, the lady warlock with the snake and some support.
It was a big grindfest, my ulhans didn't do much, both unit, they did some damage to his jacks and killed a couple of sentinel but overall they were 40 points of stuff to jam down my opponent's throat. The conquest did some work, facetanked an helios (made easier by my rocket having killed his arcanist) and then wrecked the helios before dying to sentinels. The MVP in that game were the winterguards, by the end of the game they had killed the snake, discordia, the arcanist, maybe half the sentinels and I still had 4 left at the end of the game, Vlad3 sucks but dash and HoF makes the WGI very good. I won on scenario by camping a flag with Vlad, at the end of the game the only models left were Vlad, the 4 remaining WGI and Garryth who failed an assassination run against Vlad that was camping all his focus.
Game two
Scenario Entrenched
Zerkova2 vs Thyrone
His list had two full sentinels, an helios, the jack with ROF d3, lanyssa and some support, but the jacks and sentinels were the bulk of the list.
He went first, ran everything forward, put storm rager on his caster. On my turn I pretty much ran everything forward, but out of charge range of his sentinel, teglesh mark went on Ayana, Banishing ward on my gun carriage. I forgot about assail on the rof d3 jack, but that ended up working to my advantage. On his turn two my opponent had a charge option on the gun carraige thanks to assail (I only counted hunters mark in my threat range calculation and thought I was protected by banishing ward) But to get to the gun carriage Thyrone had to cast onslaught and drop storm rager from himself, he also walked forward in some rubble camping two. On my turn Ayana ran forward, the min outriders advanced sprayed thyrone, got one lucky hit that made him burn a focus, repod closer to him, full outriders unit ran forward to all be in spray distance of thyrone. Reinholdt lucky charmed Zerkova. On her turn Zerkova walks forward, cast occult whispers then feat, boost an hoarfrost into thyrone and gets the crit with Reinholdt's reroll, after that the kiss and spray put thyrone into the ground.
Game 3

Zerkova2 vs Sturgis1
His list had a centurion and avenger on sturgis, the jr caster with a firefly, jakes with a stormclad, full stormlances, runewood, a gunmage captain adept, ragman and I think that was it.
We both ran forward turn one, on his turn two he shot a my stuff, killing 3 outriders and knocking down the behemoth, on my turn two ayana ran forward (she had teglesh mark again) so did the remaining outriders, Zerkova occult whispers, feat, hoarfrost crit Sturgis, and then a kiss and some spray's later Sturgis is dead, he was only camping 1 focus.
Game 4

Zerkova2 vs Garryth
His list has helios, hypnos, one full sentinel, one unit of battlemage, some support.
The match up is terrible for me, I had hoped he would have taken his other list in the list chicken but I loath the pit scenario and really don't want a grindfest like game one. I go first run everything forward, put teglesh mark on Ayana again. On his turn my oponent goes forward with everything, garryth cast mirage on the sentinels, sentry on hypnos, and heightened reflexes on Garryth himself. Helios pulls an outriders that hypnos kills with his gun. On my turn I take my chance with the casterkill, ayana is too far to do anything because Garryth is stealth, but I can get my 7 remaining outriders in spraying range of garryth with no focus, if 4 of them hit odds are that I will kill him, which is exactly what I did, killed him with the last spray on the feat.
So Vlad3 is as bad as I thought he was, yes dash and hands of fate are good, but that the only good thing he has, his feat is beyond terrible and I don't like the mk3 change to infernal machine. If only he had a way to give free charge or something like that and more than just infernal machine as a speed boost for his jacks to at least get some mileage out of the feat.
Zerkova2 did exactly what I expected her to do, casterkill casters on turn two and if that doesn't work lose the game because the army is in a terrible position... The odds were pretty good for me in game 2 and 3 but kinda meh in round 4, I got lucky on that one. The list has very few models and a lot of key models so it's terrible in attrition, in hindsight I should have maxed the min outriders units and cut gorman and the forge seer who both did absolutely nothing in all 3 games with them.
