A little bit of backstory first:
My Cygnar have gone through a lot of iterations as time moved on. They fought in the desert with classic desert camo, they fought through the forests in modern green scheme. But now they've found that the war can't be won in this day and age. Haley, being the time-walking prophet she is, knows this all too well. So as the Cygnarian Command prepares to make their final stand, Haley and Stryker make preparations for a drastic plan. Sealing themselves in a bunker with a few hand-picked troops, Haley uses her time magic to place the area into a cryogenic-style freeze.
When they awaken, over a hundred years later, they find nothing but a wasteland, created by Sebastian Nemo's final doomsday weapons. But not everything is dead, and they find themselves fighting tooth-and-nail for survival, battling to find their secret weapons caches and waking up the Warjacks secreted within. Stryker leads a team to Nemo's workshop, finding it buried in twisted metal and rubble. He orders a dig, and uncovers several monstrous weapons.
Essentially, my Cygnar is post-apocalypse wasteland styled, similar to Dust (which is fairly futuristic compared to our steampunky heros) or Fallout (reddish, like New Vegas), with my horsemen riding ghoulish horses, my Rangers using advanced guns/rifles, and Stryker in big bad power armor (same rules, different models). However, even with improved technology, everything is fairly old and weathered, and most thing are pretty filthy from fighting in this hellscape. I'm not super concerned with "official tournament" legality, but my conversions are fairly obvious what they represent (head swaps mostly for infantry). Just a few pictures for now, and I'll post more as I take them.
First up is Stryker himself, in this timeline, he never got to go epic a second time, but he's upgraded his power armor and energy sword (represents Stryker2):
And the only model in this army that really has questionable weapons, my custom "Battle Walker" Hurricane:
He is fully magnetized, and his front "feet" lift up (representing the Hurricane's fists). I'm still debated on how to represent the Stormwall version, I've been playing around with a potential Big Gun turret that would mount where the Arc Node is currently, with the Chain Cannons relegated to the outriggers in place of the Storm Emitters. Will update as I figure it out.
Hope you enjoy! I'll post updates as I take more pictures and complete models for this army.
