I'm guessing:
1) Ogryn theme with a warmonger UA. 2) Legionnaires or Hex Hunter style solo. Archer solo? Another artilery piece. 3) Non-character heavy Nephalim. 4) some weapon attachments?
Character beasts for Vayl or Lylth would be cool.
New Warcasters... An Ogryn one may be? Would be an interesting development.
May be Vayl3 or Thagrosh 3. Bethayne 2 could be cool may be.
How about Typhon2
I mean not too sure we need much right now, lots of fun things to play. Just thinking.

PP mentioned a Blighted Ogrun theme book back when they were initially explaining how command/theme books would work last year at Lock & Load. I would assume that the next series of releases we get will be that theme book and whatever new stuff comes out inside it. Thagrosh3 is one possibility of a Warlock that might be in that theme book, though they could just as easily come out with another Ogrun Warlock, or they might even come out with a different sort of Warlock entirely and let people who want to play a purely Ogrun army play Thagrosh1.
My guess is we'll see either a Warmonger UA or new Ogrun solo, maybe a new Ogrun unit (perhaps a plastic kit that can make either Warmongers and a new type of Ogrun unit, maybe Ogruns wielding crossbows?). New character warbeast seems like a natural choice, though I'd assume it'd be for a Warlock like Kallus instead of Vayl or Lylyth.

Without talking about buffs, most of what Legion "needs" is a way to make its infantry more appealing, a reason to play the CoD theme, and an answer to gunlines that doesn't kill other matchups. We could also benefit a lot from a reliable way to remove upkeeps, and a means to grant pathfinder (even if it's a merc/minion model) - we're really behind on available solos.
I think an Ogrun theme is definitely in the works, as I can't see how they fell as much as they did without something planned to bring them back to the table; I just hope that it also allows the Blightbringer and the spawning vessel. Something to help the Warmongers would be cool - I've never even bothered putting them on the table. I'm not sure what kind of weapon attachments Ogrun would get, but I'd be really interested to see something cool come along.
Legionnaires I think have a similar problem as Ogrun - needing a "buff" to become viable - so I'm not sure what theme we'll get first. A solo could help them out, but that doesn't really feel like enough. A non-character UA or weapon attachment could also be useful.
Non-character Nephilim, definitely - CoD is in rough shape having no access to heavies, making it a beast theme without a competitive means to bring a lot of beasts. It's a weird theme that feels like it's either really relying on future releases (in which case, maybe we should have gotten another theme, instead), or it just needs to get looked at a bit in light of other themes out there.
Vayl is my top hope for character beasts - ideally something that is a tricky toolbox to step up her versatility on the field, and maybe immune to cold for thematic reasons. For Kallus, I'd like to see something that can put out continuous fire (maybe the Ravagore's old animus), and with a crit effect to synergize with Dark Guidance, and considering his "personality" I could see something very efficient in warfare being a good fit. Given the Lylyths that we have already, I think something of a living artillery would be really cool with her - low RAT, but hits like a truck from a significant range - making use of all of her incarnations' kits. Fyanna still feels like a loner... and I haven't thought much about what she needs - something with reasonably high DEF, and a lot of attacks with at least 2" melee, I suppose.
For warcasters, I'd definitely rooting for another Vayl, but I think Bethayne has some really interesting opportunities in design. I'd love to see Vayl on a flying mount... How cool would that be?? Thagrosh3 seems inevitable, unless they invalidate him in the fluff, it's just a matter of when.

I got two wins in CoD, in the 2 games I played it at (Kryssa + Archers + double pot) at our little steamroller on Saturday. I'm slowly learning what drops its good against. (I played her vs Halley1 and vs Baldur1). Its really grindy. In the halley game I made 3 lesser out of each pot, it was pretty crazy. I had like 30 seconds left. The Baldur game was also stupidly grindy. less than 5 mins left.

I'm hoping for a decent Ogrun theme book next so I can use all of the Ogrun that are sitting on my shelf.

We need access to Saxon Orrik and Hutchuk >.>
But in terms of new toys. I want a Legionnaire solo that has a star action for desperate pace. Ogrun theme is only logical. Thargrosh 3 needs to just be a full on dragon. I could care less about any other epic caster, mainly because I can't think of any mechanical niche we need filled.
Kallus should get a character warbeast that is the rest of his body parts (human legs with a dragon head)
I'd love to see a nephilim heavy kit that builds into three different beasts. One to build a better brick, a better mouse trap (zone denial/control), and a better magician (equivalent to geomancy. Gallows would be so great that way).

Why do we need Saxon? Just for Pathfinder on our Legionaires and Swordsmen? Hutchuk would be cool.
Talking about Mechanical niche's I think an archer or spear thrower who is not Lylth as a warcaster might be cool. Our casters with ranged attacks are:
Lylth x3 - Really strong shooting Thagrosh x2 Sprays that are OK, but prefer melee or hiding. Saeryn and Valy who throw things mainly for awesome special effects.
I love that Kallus character warbeast idea - I'm not sure it can look too good though... may be like the baby scorne elephant... yuck.
I 3 way heavy nephalim kit would be a massive release. I can't imagine that they will do it though. It would be faction changing gaining a whole new faction chassis. But... with the plastic kits and the fact that 2 in one kits are way better than single kits for stock and stuff - a 2 or 3 beast option might be good. In the other factions have they brought out a 2/3 in one kit for a heavy (or light) that doesn't include other old models that get a new model. ie Nerpah and Serpah(new model), Inditor (menoth new) paired with Guardian (old). Growler (new) paired with Khadiak (new), and Purifer (new) paired with Devout and Dervish (old). Multiple new heavies in a kit, that would certainly be bold.

For ogrun theme units: Dragoncentaur heavy cavalery would be awesome something like Kallus2 but with Ogrun body

I think an ogrun theme force is almost certain. I could get behind a non- character heavy nephilim perhaps something like the leadership ability that the Bronzeback and the new Skorne character heavy has. Being able to drop a fury would help with nephilim that usually need to fill up to be effective and a theme force with limited fury management tools.

Venturing into wishlist territory...
More Naga types, possibly including a character light for Vayl or Lylyth?
A Ty-Com style support unit or solo, meant to support all the Nyss units, but with particular synergies to help Legionnaires, Scathers, and Archers.

Well if you count when retribution got vyre kit, then yes they have. Though that was for smaller faction at time and was only their second heavy chassis type.

There is hope then. A dual kit is a much better idea than a single kit.

I doubt this'll ever happen, but the ogrun theme got me thinking. If Nephilim are blighted elves, what happens when blighted ogrun are turned into warbeasts?
