Hey everyone I will be coming into ownership of a second WW thanks a present from a friend. I want to use them more than Baldur 2 lists so I'm going to start dojoing so Double Wrath lists with casters and try to post some Battle reports on here. Right off the Bat I Have 2 specificall lists I want to try. Bradigus: WW WW 3 Watchers (possibly replace with 3 Wyrds) 2 Shapers 2 Wayfarers Idea is to just face tank and hit hard. I don't have high hopes for this list. My other option with the Wyrds is to go for spell denial and janky assasination attempts with gun saturation. I keep finding it funny how Shooty wolds are and how there's so little shooting support from the casters that specialize with them. My other idea is Mohsar Moh WW WW Wyrd Wyrd 2 Shapers, 2 Wayfarers 2 Gallows Groves Shifting Stones Lots of Guns, Debbuff support and spell accuracy to allieve fury issues. Really Tanky and hits like a ton of bricks. I want to include a fulcrum but With Mohsar being so Fury hungry and having 8 Fury I feel like it will underperform. Wyrds are self sufficient and hit like a truck with Curse and Purgation.Ill be (to no ones surprise) testing this out first. I really feel like it has legs. If you have Double WW ideas or suggestions feel free to add your opinion Battle reports are welcome as well! I'd like to see some really creative caster combos with this I'll be playtesting Moh tonight and post a bat rep! It will be into trolls!

I wish could help you out but I got nothing. In the normal steamroller do you think the moh list might be a little low on attack volume? Pfft if I know, I am interested to see where this goes. I'm trying out new stuff in circle for reasons I'm sure everyone is aware of. Tharn riders here I come.

But SR2017 the sheer volume of shooting I can do and laying down 2 5"AoEs of infantry Nope all while having little to no scenario pressure. Between the guns and blackclads* I have no fear of infantry. and Pillars, Sunhammer and curse make Jack Spam manageable. (Pow 21 WW with free charges? Yes Please!)

I'd try to make double Woldwrath work with Morvahna1 while she's still ADR. The idea is to try to make an ADR anti-shooting list.

Ok so here is the battle report for my first test run of Moh double wrath.
SR2017 scenario was standoff. terrain was a healthy mix of water hills and rubble with a couple obstructions on the outskirts of the map.
He won the roll and chose to go first.
His list: Ragnor: Glacier King Mountain King 2 Runeshapers Janissa Max stone with UA whelps shaman
I deploy very far up thanks to theme.
Turn 1 we both run I lob a couple AOEs from the wrath that both deviate to the center of the board to be nice and irrelevant.
Turn 2 he stays out of my charge threat with his kings runesheapers toe the round zones and dig in. I stay out of his charge threat and use both wraths to toe the round zones I lob some AOE's at runsehsapers and kill 1 from the left unit and none from the right unit but do manage to damage janissa. Mohsar plops some pillars to be obnoxious and my wyrds bide their time. Trolls 1: Circle 1
Turn 3: Runeshapers and ragnor kill pillars. Ragnor feats MK walks up and sprays down a Gallows Grove, GK kills objective. Rest of his support advances. I retaliate by putting Curse on the MK, feating, plopping pillars in front of the Gk and hunters mark on the MK. (ill explain why this was all a mistake in the summary) Gallows grove was unable to get within 5" of the MK but was in range to arc curse. WW does half damage to MK and woldwyrds move up and cast Arcane suppression to keep ragnor back and try to prevent him casting rage on the MK. Right blackclad and WW try to remove runeshapers with guns but fail thanks to tough and whiffing horribly. Trolls:3 Circle:2
Turn4: ragnor finds a spot to cast rage on MK and does. MK kills WW and eats whelps for health. GK frenzies and punches a pillar. Runeshapers kill both balckclads and janissa kills the last Gallows grove. My response is to do all but 7 damage to the MK with wyrds, cycle curse onto the Gk and finish off the MK with the Wrath and put about half damage into the Gk. my stoneshapers kill contesting whelps and fail to finish off janissa. Shifting stones port u to contest the round zone on the left and the square zone. Trolls: 4 Circle: 3
Turn 5: Gk gets pulverizer and does all but 3 to WW. Jannissa finishes the job and runsheapers remove contesting shifting stone and stoneshaper from left round zone. Ragnor kills the shifting stone in the square zone. Circle responds with killing the GK with woldwyrds. Stonehspaer kills contestign whelps. Mohsar kills jannissa with 2 crevasses. and my clock is down to 1 minute and 30 seconds. Trolls: 6 Circle: 3
Turn 6: He kill the contesting stoneshaper and shifting stone and runs a whelp to contest my square zone. Trolls: 9 Circle:3
Troll Victory!
Well I made some major mistakes this game that could have swung it in my favor. Most of these were done in turn 3 on my feat turn.
1: gallows grove positioning: I should have never put my GG in a position to be sprayed by the MK that was a huge blunder on my part and cost me the ability to deny his whelps healing. that alone cost me the chance to use the Worldwyrds to finish the MK and the wrath to really damage the GK on turn 4.
2: WoldWrath positioning: I was too concerned with contesting with the wrath's and should have kept them closer together. Had I done that it would have been hard for him to play so aggressively and still avid being in charge threat of both wraths with Hunters Mark. I also misused the WW on turn3 and should have shot the MK to try and kill the whelps with my lightning gun and put extra damage on him
3: Woldwyrd positioning: I should have been more aggressive on turn 3 and put my wyrds up far enough that he could not get ragnor anywhere to be in range to cast rage on the MK and be outside of arcane suppression. I think this mistake cost me the game most of all as a un-buffed MK should not one round a WW.
4: Aggressiveness: Looking back on turn 3 I think what I should have done is backed off. Killed runeshapers and used pillars to block up the MK and my feat and a cleverly positioned shifting stone to lock down the GK. I was too concerned with playing up and should have taken my time and played it safe. Having said that it really saddens me that the trend i am finding with SR2017 is it rewards boring, passive behavior and choices in a game. I feel punished for playing aggressively in SR2017 and that bothers me.
5: Clock: I took way to much time for turns 3 and 4. I used over half my clock in those turns and it put pressure on me to make simple mistakes and not focus enough on my model positioning. Its sad that turn 3 took so long and that was where most of my positioning mistakes came from. I will be looking more into this as I grow as a player.
List Overview: I like it. It hits hard and has lots of boxes to chew through. It has a pretty heavy shooting presence and it also has a respectable melee presence with the wraths. No Knockdown DEF skew will be a problem but that's why I have list pairings! Ill keep playing it. One thing I will note is the lack of sentry stones was heavily felt this game. My contesting was very weak due to that. I will be considering that more as I play future games.

the double wrath list ive been running is
baulder1 - in theme WW WW megs wyrd 3x stoneshapers blackclad shifting stones
use baulders feat to try and prevent the alpha. cycle stoneskin making your wraths hit at pow 21 while also keeping the one a little more durable. hide shapers and stones behind to just pump out heals if the opponent does not manage to one round the slightly squishier one. blackclad does blackclad things

I love Double Woldwraths and my list that has been giving people headaches is: Baldur2 - Theme Bones of Orboros Woldwrath Woldwrath Megalith [Edit] 2x Stoneshapers (free) Blackclad Wayfarer (free) Sentry Stone Shifting Stones Shifting stones Wraths march up together, as a moving bunker for Baldy and the support. Stones can be used for healing as well as fury management as you are likely running most things very hot. The Wayfarer for the +2 inch movement and ability to really geta round the battlefield to contest/annoy. Megalith covers one flank or the other - a roving threat dealing with some of the weird jank your opponent will be trying to get into the squishy underside of your army Baldy rarely is camping at least to start as you get both big guys up to ARM23, and heal most of the damage that gets through... use the Rockwall to minimise charge landing zones to also protect the guys, and feat after a turn or so when the enemy starts to threat the non-beast portions of the list. Though remember Baldy has to go last to make it work...

Seems like megalith is there - by points and text under list. Btw i would heavily consider replacing megalith and sentry stones with woldwyrds: Circle Army - 74 / 75 points [Theme] The Bones of Orboros (Baldur 2) Baldur the Stonesoul [+30] - Woldwrath [37] - Woldwrath [37] - Woldwyrd [9] - Woldwyrd [9] - Woldwyrd [9] Blackclad Stoneshaper [0(3)] Blackclad Stoneshaper [0(3)] Blackclad Wayfarer [0(4)] Blackclad Wayfarer [0(4)] Shifting Stones [3]

Indeed. I talked about Meggy and didnt have him in the summary list. He is an important part of the list. Just last night his animus helped keep that khador jack with the additional damage against huge bases away from a wrath.
I like the Wyrds, and may try them in this mix but so far I have had more utility from Megalith.
