Since Morghoul2 is now actually playable I've really been wanting to put him on the table. I'll get that chance this weekend and will test this list: conflictchamber.com/#b91b3Z6S4C5G6N6A6UcTfg5U6LSkorne Army - 75 / 75 points (Morghoul 2) Lord Assassin Morghoul [+29] - Cyclops Raider [9] - Cyclops Shaman [8] - Titan Gladiator [15] - Aptimus Marketh [5] - Titan Sentry [15] - Archidon [10] Cataphract Incindiarii (max) [17] Croak Raiders (max) [17] Paingiver Beast Handlers (min) [5] Paingiver Task Master [3] The list is mostly composed of what I have painted right now so it's not perfect. I'll drop him into anything Zaadesh2 can't handle, which admittedly is not all that much. In general, Morghoul2 feels like a caster that can be built in many different ways. There are some common elements I am seeing like Marketh or generally bringing a lot of guns. So with that said, what are you bringing with him? What are you playing him into? What's your experience with him?

I'm totally enthralled by Morg2 right now as well. I just can't quite make a list i'm completely satisfied with. But I'll find it some day. Waiting for the dakar to come out then I'll try him in theme. With blind and mortality those catapults can actually hit things.

I really like Karn with Morg2. Shadow play anf 13inch threat with a gladiator pretty much ensures he can get where he is needed. It also creates a 13inch no go spot for the enemy caster.

Okay, I've played the list yesterday in the first round of a tournament and I am somewhat torn. In fact, I stopped dropping it from round 2 on for a reason. The Croaks and Incindiarii are basically 37 dead points, they just die way too fast. I am however very convinced by Morghoul2, the Shaman+Raider package as well as the way my heavies performed. Morghoul2 will get another chance, but I feel like just bringing Zaadesh2 with ADR is better than bringing Zaadesh2 without ADR and Morghoul2 as a second list. So my next try with the Lord Assassin will probably be in the later half of this year when the incredible convenience of having one of our best casters in ADR ends. I'll probably go for this list then: conflictchamber.com/#b91b3Z5G5J6S4C6U6NbE6v5V6aSkorne Army - 75 / 75 points (Morghoul 2) Lord Assassin Morghoul [+29] - Titan Gladiator [15] - Molik Karn [19] - Cyclops Raider [9] - Cyclops Shaman [8] - Archidon [10] - Aptimus Marketh [5] Siege Animantarax [17] Extoller Soulward [3] Paingiver Beast Handlers (max) [7] Praetorian Karax (max) [11]

I have been playing the below list and have had some good success with it.
(Morghoul 2) Lord Assassin Morghoul [+29] - Aptimus Marketh [5] - Archidon [10] - Desert Hydra [38] Paingiver Beast Handlers (min) [5] Paingiver Bloodrunners [9] Praetorian Ferox (max) [20] Extoller Soulward [3] Paingiver Bloodrunner Master Tormentor [4] Orin Midwinter, Rogue Inquisitor [5] Gudrun the Wanderer [5]
Bloodrunners usually run screen for the Hydra and then die off as she gets into the mix, but I have found that 'Scather' 'Razor/Fire Wall', and 'Covering Fire' templates slow them down too much. Next I am going to replace the Runners/Tormentor with a unit of Slingers to screen, they can get some work done with 'Mortality' out on a unit or Warjack.
There are plenty of points in here to push and pull around, but found that Gudrun and Orin get their points back every game.
All in all a really fun caster to play, just keep him away from jack/beast spam.
