The challenge is Simple: Find a story that doesn't have a better love story than Twilight. My suggestion: 50 shades of Grey. That's not love, it's indoctrination.

Well, Damn. (I already knew that 50 shades of grey started out as a fan-fic of Twilight) I keep trying to come up with an alternative, but I get stuck at Cars 2, but even the Mater/McQueen love story is better than Twilight's

Boku wasn't a bad story, it's just an extremely taboo topic that most people, myself included, want nothing to do with. Within my anime circle the few people who're fine watching literally anything tell me Boku's actually alright storywise. Twilight was one of the worst love stories I've ever seen, but the one love story that's pissed me off more than any other. The least believable love story I've ever watched is without a doubt:

Good grief. I've just watched Old Fashioned, the christian answer to Fifty Shades of Grey, and I cringed non-stop throughout that film. (I like watching films with reputations as bad films.) That's not a love story, it's a stalker story.

The least believable love story I've ever watched is without a doubt: The prequels had many faults, and yes, the wooden love story was a big one. This is a result of the director (Lucas) getting the actors he demands with no regard as to how their mutual chemistry will convince the audience this fake romance is real. When I acted, I lost a couple parts not because I was bad, but because I hadn't chemistry with potential female leads. Anyways ... ahem. I'm off topic. You got me ranting, cuss it.

On topic:
Disney's version of The Little Mermaid.
As a father of a lovely little girl, I imagine it like this. Let's say in 18 years she comes up to me and says, "Daddy, I found this incredible biker guy. I'm getting biker leathers and gear, shaving part of my head, getting a mess of tattoos all in hopes that he'll notice me and we'll be in love forever. Oh, and if you don't approve I'll just go to some shady person to help me do it."
Yeah ... no.
