I finally got a dry day where I could gloss coat them with enamel so I was able to finish up the reivers. Also with all those rainy days I painted up a unite of slingers. Sorry the pictures are side ways for some reason no matter what I do when I upload them it turns them sideways. If anyone knows how to fix this issue please tell me.

I love the glassy lacquer look of coloured glazes/inks over metallics. Gorgeous work.

If your looking to get that look yourself its supper simple. All you need to do is paint Retributor gold then go over it with Badger Minitaire Ghost Tint Fresh Blood(keep applying layers till its as red as you want), then clean up the edges with the Retributor gold again. That's it, its that simple.

While I know its been a while since I have posted anything new I am finally getting back into the swing of things! So here is the titan bronzeback I've been working on. I tried a new way of doing the skin, instead of washing it like I normally do after painting it I opted to use a red brown oil wash on it. This way the wash would stick completely to the cracks and not change the color of the rest of the skin. Overall I think it came out great!

The photo links aren't working for me. There's big minus signs in their places. 😔

The skin and scales on those Aradus looks really good - too good in fact, they're actually making me uncomfortable.

Nicely done. The human type flesh looks like it needs some definition but everything else looks great!

Have you tried Quickshade varnish? Since you're working on quick paintjobs, I think it could add a lot of definition to your models without taking much time. The "soft" and "dark" tones work great on warm-toned flesh and organic shapes in my experience, so they should go great on your pigs. They work fine on brass, but can give steel a bit of a "dirty/rusty" look; that might be a bit out of place on Cygnar, but should look fine in Minions.

Could you explain a little more what you mean by quickshade varnish? I'm not sure exactly what technique you are referring to. If your referring to the Army painter quickshade washes I did use those on these guys but watered them down a bit to much. I ended up deciding it wasn't worth washing them all again so I sealed the miniatures so I could move over to my next project.
