1. When it says the model advances up to speed+3, does it mean it has to use all of it's movement or is it up to as in anywhere up to that point? 2. Say im trampling over models with lylyth3 and i have a nephilim protector to give me parry, where do i put the protector to give me parry if he has to be within 3" to grant parry? It is at the beginning of the trample, next to the models that would get free strikes or near lylyth3 when the trample ends?

I know that we have played that you move the trampling model, resolve its attacks on the things you trample over, then resolve free strikes against the trampling model. We always did it from its ending position for benefits, etc. We may have been wrong, but for example, if I trample out of a warlocks control area, we played you could not boost to hit or damage rolls for the trample attacks. I would apply the same logic to the parry granting of the protector. But again, we may be wrong and that is how we interpreted things.
